I hope they get Spielberg back doing them, He can still do these sort of films....with Crystal Skull mostly had Lucas sticking his nose in alot of things.

I'm sure they will.

There was a rumor Disney was planning on replacing Harrison Ford with a younger actor, Someone like Bradley Cooper

but that's now been denied by Frank Darabont & Frank Marshall.

Ah… good rumour… 😉

So yeah about that Robert Pattinson recast as Indiana Jones rumor

Unfortunately, though, there's was no truth to those rumors

don't know people wish to even think about rebooting the franchise, either do a 5th one.....(a good one at that) or just leave it.

UNfortunately? You think he'd be good?
Not downing him but, he seems too scrawny for the part and doesnt have a 30s/40s look to him.
Gym time and make overs can do wonders i know but, i'm glad it was just a rumor.

Nope, I don't wish to see the role recast.

nice

Yeah, kinda... Doesn't mean anything though. hehehehe

Its funny that the sock/troll is more open minded than you. 😆

Has nothing to dow with open mindedness. We don't know anything yet, it doesn't help us further. Even though the points made are very good.

For a release date in 2019, if they want to age Indy realistically again - Crystal Skull aged him 19 years, since it had been 19 years since Last Crusade got released in 1989 - then this should be set in in 1968, 11 years since the events in 1957.

What was happening then? Vietnam spun out of control, the TET offensive surprising the US and it's allies. Would they tackle a quest there?
