I didn't say anything about the quality of the movie regarding his statements. But if there ever was a script writer that could do a good Jones film today, its Michael Ardnt.

It will be extrodinary - Star Wars and Indiana Jones may go on even once Lucas is in the grave, and fans will still want to bash him.

I doubt he is really retired. He sold the company and cashed in. Doesn't mean he's gone.

Yeah, Lucas is still staying on as creative consultant. Lets hope he doesn't convince J.J. to do this all on greenscreen again.

I think J.J. can handle the green screen stuff just fine. I hope we don't get any silly or pretentious storylines.

All i ask for if there's ever another film is more actual set shots. CGI can make a film feel "empty" when done improperly.

Some of it will. The good ones, mainly (cause they deserve praise).
The crap however will be noted forever as being just that.

Some people just can't tell when people are honestly appraising a movie from trendy 'bashing'.
Critics must be free to give opinions without being auto-dismissed as having an agenda.

I would like to see it be continued from raiders of the lost ark. it never really showed what happened to the ark.

We actually see the ark for a second in "kingdom of the crystal skull". When the truck is in the warehouse and crashes thru some crates, the camera pans over and we catch a glimpse of it. It's been setting there all those years.

Exactly... NOTHING happened to the Lost Ark.

Except its just "The Ark" now, technically, in film canon.

That's fine by me. I just don't want a CGI junkyard of a movie for such a practical character as Jones.
