Point is, there was only one COIE (undisputable), and during WF Mxy visited that 'place' - this alone should be enough, imo. There's also Hypertime (which is very much canonical) and could certainly be used to link this story. There's also only one true Mxy/Spectre (both of which appeared in that comic.) Etc.

"Imaginary stories" - anyone who reads Elseworlds will tell you this phrase appears in the opening pages of every single comic that company produces (many of which are canonical) so...
