Not surprised. It looks like shit.

That sucks, I have high hopes for this one, mainly because I liked to cartoon. Still will see it.

I was hoping it'd be a fun popcorn flick, but from the looks of the unanimous poor reviews, I think I'll wait for the DVD or something.

Remember, people like you and I liked Voltron and Transformers, as kids. Have you watched those cartoons? Horrible horrible acting and dialogue. So horrible that it's hard not to think of it as a joke.

That's that bad I'm "reading" about this movie: crappy acting and too much plot.

I remember the crappy reviews that the Transformers' films got, and they were great.

I don't think anyone's saying "too much plot," they're saying "too much exposition" aka too much telling and not enough showing. I don't want to watch people telling me the story/background/etc. for a couple hours; that's bad filmmaking.

Also, the Transformers films sucked. A lot.

Oh, that's what they've been saying?

I thought they were saying that too much plot was forced into a sub-2-hour film making it hard to follow and silly...cept for those that watched the cartoon like champs.

Anyway, yeah, you and I had words about the Transformers films. 😆

Oh, maybe they did say that too, but as far as I know M. Night planned on making this into a trilogy or something, so too much plot shouldn't be a problem... although I don't think a trilogy is necessarily going to happen given the potential lack of success for this film. Guess we'll see.

And we did indeed!

After revisiting Pandora via Blu-ray transmission, I have to state the obvious: this is some serious movie-making. There's good reason it's the highest grosser in film history.

Well some of the reviews seems to be aimed at the 3D version looking at Rottentomatoes and also what Dudamon pointed out earlier.

A while back i watched all of G1 sure yeah there were some corny lines but not all of them were bad.
