Oh, maybe they did say that too, but as far as I know M. Night planned on making this into a trilogy or something, so too much plot shouldn't be a problem... although I don't think a trilogy is necessarily going to happen given the potential lack of success for this film. Guess we'll see.

An LA Times movie reviewer said that this will be a great kids flick, his has some good martial arts action, and special effects. He said it is lacking the little intelligent or witty bits that movies like Toy Story 3 have in it, which makes it less likely to succeed because parents won't take their children to see a movie like that, as often.

I'm still going to see this. Today. 😐

Can't be that hard to work out the plot.....

Defo let us know, right after you see it, if it's worth it or not.

Yeah, but what about the average adult? The average adult is a moron and they are not familiar with book one of this cartoon. I'd expect that type of person to be lost and whine about having too much information to digest.

Keep in mind, average adults continue to buy Apple products...that should be the first clue as to why the Transformer films did so well and great movies like Equilibrium didn't.

This is true.

Sad part about that, the 30 second intro to each episode tells you exactly what the story's focus/plot is about; that's all M. Night really need to do.

it shouldnt be, but for people who arent fans of the series, theyll do nothing but ***** and complain cause a lot of times, more questions than answers are given, especially about General Iroh

Seeing this about 3 hours. I'll let you ****ers now what's up.

Theater manager needs a proper beat-down.

This movie was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure that fanboys like myself will be compelled to watch it despite my warnings but just know they shit all over the franchise.

Are the action sequences as good as they look in the theatrical trailers?

On second thought, you're right. It's not that hard, at all, to pick up and it's a fun plot. I think the critics are just being morons...well, that's just me HOPING that they are just being morons.

I say that because I spoke to a mom of 3, today, at work. She said that she watched bits and pieces of it with her kids and she greatly looks forward to the film. Can't be that hard to follow if a mother that barely watched it, knew what was going on.

There's barely any actions sequences and the ones that are in the movie look really awkward. It's like they're trying to do what 300 did but it turns out looking awkward. Not to mention that M Night decides to put his own twist on the movie and the plot and f's it all up. Definitely don't see it in 3D because there's nothing worth seeing in 3D in the movie

An M-Twist in an already established story? That ****ing Indian bastard.

Oh OK. I'm still on the fence with this one. I have never watched the show and don't expect a great story for the film. Would only see it if there is great action like they showed in the trailers.

Maybe I'll just try and see it at the dollar theater later on.

Was it actually bad, or are you just pissed that it wasn't exactly like the show? Like, if you were to see this and had no previous exposure to the animated series, was it good?
