Hahaha I am getting so much hate right now.My Facebook status is, "RIP MJ, you were an amazing basketball player"
From the comments I have gathered people don't find it as humorous as I did.
My MSN message isn't to flattering lol. Not to bad know.
"M. Jackson dies, the children of the world are finally safe!!"

I was being serious...He's tried the Jesus comparison before when Jarvis Cocker tried to storm in a show off his spotty arse at the Brit Awards. What's to stop him trying it again?

This is strange. It's kind of hard to believe he is dead.He is the first social/entertainment icon to die that was relevant to my generation. I was never much of a fan but i definitely envied his talent and respected his compassion. Thanks for cool music and dance shows, mikey.
Idk, I am 5 years younger then you and I didn't find MJ at all relevant to my generation.
His music was appreciated, but the controversy surrounding him drowned that out 10 fold, at least in my generation.

well now America all your children are safer now from being molested and other sexual activities happening to them. one less child molester or worry about now. one big one that is
Even if we assume that he was guilty of what he was found innocent of he'd hardly be a big one...quite small time.

Yeah, i can dig that. Maybe his legacy depends on whether or not you think he truly was a pedo..., i don't. Either way, there is no denying the impact and influence that he had on the music industry. I didn't mean to insinuate that he had a hand in shaping my/our generation. I just meant that he was a relevant and impactful guy. Much the same way that Elvis Presley and John Lennon was. I remember when Elvis died it was a big thing but it meant nothing to me because i wasn't apart of that generation. It was just another dead, washed up musician to me. I didn't learn of or come to appreciate his importance to that generation until years later.

I don't know if he is the only one that had impact on our generation that died though, I mean there were death in younger and probably also more relevant artists/celebrities from when you were 94 forward.

Finaly! A non-retarded post that is desperately trying to be funny at the expense of Michael Jackson's death.
