Not sure i understand u .Avlons point was that people without extremely good reflexes have been able to navigate surfers board at high speeds. Hence the BP example is inapplicable.

Have you served? No I am NOT admin, nor do i work in an office, but I AM an NCO..Im a forward air controller dear...google it 😉. Everyone has access to computers here, thats how soldiers and marines are able to contact home.

yes, i have served. so what branch are you? foward air control isnt much to go on. i am thinking either army or airforce. 😎

I went to boot camp in Paris Island, graduated MCT and went on to M.O.S. school...ive been in 10 years this December...have deployed 4 times to Iraq since 03. No I dont work on predators, I work with AC-130 gunships, Destroyer class Naval Vessels, F-18s, Cobras, 155 mm howitzers, mortars, etc etc you name it, if its an indirect fire support asset I clear it hot to engage the target...and im ON the ground. I carry a radio, M4 and a M9 which Ive havent used since 06. Oh and my PT score is 298 in case u were wondering, because I didnt get 2 situps. Holla at ya girl Devil 😄

feels like this is a pissing/measuring contest and since i am the guy i win. i have deployed twice to iraq i have ridden in abram tanks, fired m198 howitzers, 50 cal sniper rifle, while in iraq i carried an m16 and m9 along with and emergency flare device. i have bn mortared less then 200 yrds while smoking a cigarette and radioing base of the situation and clearing my marines while sand was showering all over me.

i have bn everything from base security, convoy security, S4 admin arty mech and operator as well as armory.

i havent had a 298 or 300 pft since my first two yrs of my enlistment i actually coast at 286 now, i always got my situps and pull ups, i dont care for runs anymore.. thats my excuse 😮

so whats yours for still being an Nco and not a Snco in your 10yr career?

She just pushed my buttons and that wasnt the right day to f!! with me. My 4 deployments eclipse your 2 as I was over here during the initial push AND im here right now...

Everything else you've said is meh...firing a sniper rifle in a training environment, and actually using one in combat are two seperate beasts. Everyone gets mortared, try SURVIVING an IED, luckily i was in a tracked vehicle. Tanks are cool n what have you, but since there is ZERO armored threats in IRAQ OR AFGHAN its more a SHOW of force than anything
