The Last of the Elementals Role Play

Smirked. Remember. Im not challenging you. Im asking if YOU are challenging me. She held her staff at the ready. As soon as he says he is challenging her she would charge. If he said he wasnt challenging her then she would begin walking down the road again. but then she remembered. Oh Wait! I almost forgot. We cant be playing around. We need to get to the temple. I cant believe I got so caught up in this I forgot! Come on its just a couple miles down the road! She didnt wait for a reply. She turned and ran, swiftly, down the road.

Jacob stood in the middle of the road, Lightbringers on all sides, just waiting for him to move. He recognized the attack formation that they were using. They were the students he originally taught it to. "You have five sec-" "SHUT UP FILTHY UNDEAD!!" Jacob flew forward, decapitating the Lightbringer for his disrespect and disobeying of his most basic commands, even though they had been taught over one-hundred years ago.

"Oh God thank you...thank you lord!" He thought to himself and sheathed his halberds back up. The last thing he wanted was to start his legacy off on a loss. He smiles back and keeps on running. "Well then I guess one of us got lucky then. Tahaha, at least I get to beat you in a race, well I could if I knew exactly where we were going that is..."

As they ran down the road a large temple began to appear in the distance. She pointed to it. We are going there! See it? And I highly dout you can run faster then me with two halberds and a sword weighting you down, and me with a simple staff and light clothing. She then picked up the pace and easily gained some distance from him.

[center]She was right, physics were keeping him down and he wasn't fast enough without the weight to completely blitz her. Toshi was destined to lose this race but it wasn't going to be by a longshot. He lowered his head and picked up some speed trying to keep up with her.

She looked behind herself a little to see him keeping up a little but she was still gaining ground very slowly. Naturally she was the first to get there. There was a gaurd there who saw her running with someone running behind her. He readied his sword to defend his comrade but she pushed the sword down and told him it was just a race. The guard nodded then got back into his post position. She went to the door and punched in her entrance code before the door slide open. By the time it was fully open Toshi would be there.[I] Come on. As long as your with me human you should be okay. But remember you are a guest here. Please watch what you say. [I]She stepped inside and the door began to shut.

The Lightbrings now all laid at his feet as he pulled his cloak back over himself. He stepped forward to the main entrance to the temple and punched in his very old code. The door slid open, and everything seemed in order, almost as the day he left. Stepping inside, he was quickly grabbed by two guards and thrown into the Audience Chamber, before the Grandmaster himself.

"Don't worry, I'm not one to run my mouth off in a place where I'm not used to. I'll be a perfectly quiet guest, you can bet on it!" He said with his usual smile turning into a serious face so no one would think that he was here for anything bad.

Ariel was approached by James. He then said to her "Jacob will try to kill me for my Arcs. Once my mission that was my brother's is done, I shall give my Arcs to you. "

Ariel looked around at everyone. Then at James. Finally, she exclaimed, "What should I do?" She really wanted to help the good guys out. Whoever was the good guys.

"Tell me, somebody!! Anybody?!"

James "You should take me somewhere safe. We are going to do a Ritual so that you hold part of the power of my Arcs and I hold part of the power of yours. "

The Grandmaster stood and looked at Jacob for the longest time, almost as if looking into his soul. "Who are you, warrior? You wear the armor of the Lightbringers, but you are the dead." After a few moments, he laughed to himself. "If I have even the smallest idea, I'd say you're Father Book, making a 'triumphant' return."

Ariel squinted her eyes. "Ritual? But... why? What if I don't want the Arcs?"

The young woman turned to him and smiled. "You won't be a bother, kid. You can come along with us."

James then slowly handed Excalibur's hilt to Ariel. "I will join your quest. Then once I have Jacob's Arc and the Arc of that other person, I shall go after my Father's killer with 4 Arcs. Then once that is said and done, I shall pass my arcs. "

Jacob stood and stared down the Grandmaster, as he stared back just as intently. After what seemed like an eternity, the Grandmaster pressed a button on a table next to his seat. His voice was soft, but harsh at the same time. "LEERA! I demand to know why this undead, that YOU were assigned to kill, is in my Audience Chamber!"
