The Last of the Elementals Role Play

If she had a smile on her face it was gone now... oh no.. she made her way into the Audience Chamber and smiled unevenly. Well.. Sir. I umm.. Well.. didnt seem like she could get her words together. But she took a deep breath and stood at attention Sir! He did not show signs of maddness like the normal Undead. I can not bring myself to kill someone who is right minded. I know he is an abomination but.. He helped fight of The Master even though it was simply a Shade. Sir! she winced a little not sure if he would buy that.. she had never been in here because she was in trouble, and she was still technically in training. So the whole Reporting thing was new to her.

Toshi was a little frightened himself, he had no idea where he was and if his companion was nervous then this couldn't be good. He only hoped that nothing bad would happen to either of them.

The Grandmaster growled and sighed at the same time. "We've spent years training you, and on your first fight against the undead, you mess up. Never have compassion, never think about the situation, just act!" Jacob stepped forward and removed his hood. The Grandmaster almost gagged at Jacob's rotting complexion, but quickly regained his composure. "Kill this creature, now!"

She sighed softly then nodded, slamming the end of her staff upon the floor. As you wish sir... She slams her hand upon the head of her staff and slowly pullls it away, bringing flame forth. Her gauntleted hand held the staff and the power went into the staff and then concentrated at its head where she draws upon it. She continues to draw out the flames until she has a fire ball the size of a watermellon in hand. I am sorry, Father Book.

"WHAT!?" The Grandmaster shrieked through out the Audience Chamber. He leaped down and charged to Leera's side, pulling out his weapon. "We must slay this beast, now!"

The fire ball began to spin and she launched it forward to Jacob. She didnt want to. But she had to follow orders.

Toshiie was shocked at what was going on. He's never seen powers like this before, but she seemed saddened with what she was doing. Toshi wanted to tell them to let her stop and don't force her to do anything, but it seemed like that would be the last thing he ever said so he forced his mouth shut.

Jacob did not draw his sword, nor move from his very spot. A wall of dark energy formed, and was hit directly by the fire ball. The wall cracked all over, and Jacob just stood in the center as the two attacked. The Grandmaster drew his great Maul and leaped into the air, bringing it down on the orb of darkness.

Belus walked through the hallway with a guard escorting him, they were on there way to the auidence chamber. He was captured and allowed hismelf to be taken in to get a closer look at the inside of the city and things. He was still fully armed and just waited for a chance that he felt was good enough to leave. After a while of walking they got to the door and opened it, there they saw The Grandmaster and a woman fighting an undead with a young warrior he met earlier standing there in awe.

Leera leapt into the way and used her staff to push the hammer to the side. She couldnt block that but she could alter its course. Forgive me Grandmaster. But I request to do this myself. If you command he must be destroyed then allow me to do it alone. I will show my worth to you and our people.

The Grandmaster smiled and set his Hammer back onto his belt, feeling that his pupil was finally learning the ways of the Lightbringer. "You have come a long way Leera. I know you can win this. Beat this old traitor, and show him his punishment for siding with the Undead to gain immortality. Rage burned in Jacob's eyes as his mind faded back to the memories of his unquestioning loyalty to the Grandmaster, and the Grandmaster's betrayal that turned him into the monster that he is today.

Outside the Palace of the Light Bringers stood James. He would make a deal with the GrandMaster and give him his Arcs in exchange for the Death of his parent's killers. Then Justice would be satisfied and his Oath to save his family completed.

The Grandmaster ordered everyone out of the room, and walked to the entrance of the Temple when he heard of someone waiting outside, most particularly an Arc wielder. "What is it that you want?"

Belus stood there for a moment watching the situation at hand, after a few seconds he walked closer to the Grandmaster. He indended to see why he was called here if he was suposed to be punished. "Why was I summonded?"

"I want to join your order. " said James. "I unlike the others actually possess the power of 2 Arcs. Your apprentice saved my life from an undead version of my brother. "

The Grandmaster looked baffled. "The Order of the Lightnbringers, is well.. for Lightbringers. A human like you would be old before your training was complete, and this would be only if you started after birth. The Arcs are useless technology, but... Leera does have an Arc of her own.." The Grandmaster looked at a contingent of some of the most powerful Lightbringers in the whole Order. "Seize the boy."

"What Test must I pass if I want to join?" said James as he used his gymnastics training to easily evade all of them.

He then said "Very Well though, if you wish a shock..... "

He held up his hand and began gathering electricity from his electric Arc.

James was violently struck from behind by an Archon, one of the original Arc Wielders. The Lightbringer held up his gauntler, and had a very strange Arc within it, the Arc of Fate. "I can see your next move, no matter how complex. You'd do best to surrender your arcs to Leera."

Leera watched as the Grandmaster walked out. Unquestioning Loyalty. Thats what we Lightbringers must endure. she then turned to Jacob. I have been given orders to kill you now. Prepare yourself Father Book. For when this starts, I shall not go easy on you. she readied her staff in preperation for the fight.
