lol, Dr. McBeefington, Sir. I find your fascination with Revan interesting. I made an offhand comment regarding a discussion that had been going on for many pages.
But you have just made a claim that Revan couldn't destroy the Temple that Bane DID destroy. I never said he couldn't, but you have decided to put it down as FACT that he could do so.
Clearly you still aren't picking up on this whole Revan vs. Bane is an impossible comparison thing.
So....
PROVE that Revan has a massive enough TK attack to destroy the Rakata temple. Just a little evidence of his massive TK ability. Where is one instance in which he used TK on a scale that large? Considering you were so sure of yourself one moment ago, this should not be much of a challenge:

Prove he did that. The book states that he was getting hit by Raskta before they got reinforcements, after which he allowed the Jedi to hit him.
He doesn't need to defend the orbalisks. The orbalisks are completely immune to the attacks of a lightsaber; they would serve the same function as a lightsaber would if used defensively.
Bane uses that function of the orbalisks throughout the battle and from even his very first action where he charges "recklessly" towards them with his entire body undefended, clearly aware that they would presumably target that area first.

no... Bane destroyed the temple BECAUSE Ka'sim was about to kill him with a lightsaber. What are you getting at?
TJ just to jump in here I don't know if I misread your post wrong but Bane didn't intentionally bring down the temple. He directed it at Kas'im himself. It's purely because Kas'im had a Force Shield up. A pretty strong one as well.
true, but the reason for the TK attack was because he was about to die. The way DS made it sound, the reason Bane directed an attack at the temple was because the rakata weren't defending it. Which seemed really weird for one... and false for the simple reason that he did it combat.
I thought it a weird statement, and i would have assumed i misinterpreted what he was saying, except the emphasis on the word because isn't mine, he emphasized it himself.
Originally posted by truejediI'll concede that, once Kas'im went Jar'kai Bane was off his guard instantly and on the defensive. Oh that is weird, I just read that post not any of the ones before, I apologise.

No, and it was in response to the way you made it sound that Bane allegedly did what Revan couldn't, and Revan had to have the Rakata open it.
Everyone needs to read this. EVERYONE.
The following is a piece of truejedi's and Kotor3's debate. Each successive quote is a direct response to the previous. Kotor3's response is THE definition of foolishness and idiocy.

Prove sidious forgot to teach Maul force lightning.

I can very well ask you to prove that he Maul knew the technique.

I assume no such thing. What you said was "Sidious FORGOT to teach Maul force lightning."

Stop trying to making statements for me. I stated Maul did not known force lightning because we never saw him using it. You trying to imply that I need to prove that statement why, because you disagree if not then I moving on.
That, kiddies, is what not to do.
