When Harrison Ford can't do any more Indy movies...

Ah no, if you don't like him, you don't like him. You don't have to laugh.

Yes thats right.
Doesn't mean others can't though... 🙂

My opinion actually matters very little in the world.
Its by no means compulsorary.

Really? You had me convinced of the opposite.

Well its nice if your opinion is coincidentally held by others, of course, but Ive come to realise with age maybe that its always worth paying attention to what other people think. And sometimes if everyone else likes a movie or act, that inherently it must be likeable, and that its possibly me who has the funny taste in stuff.

Meh.

Meh indeed.

So you're a fan of TF2 now. 😛

I wouldnt go THAT far lol

Oh okay... good to know we have that clear.

Super arrived today... on Blu Ray.

Glad to hear it!

Prepare for brilliance.

I saw it... It's pretty good, but I liked Kick-Ass better.

Kickass was indeed a good movie, IIRC

Havent seen it since it was released.

I've been getting the follow up to Kick-Ass it has some crazy moments.

They did a sequel?

Yeah with the comics, Same writer as the first one Mark Miller

Hit-Girl teaches Kick-Ass how to actually fight.

Oh cool. 🙂

I HATED the Kick-ass comic. It left a dirty taste in my mouth.
The movie corrected every mistake the comic made. Just like the television version of True blood corrected its horrible book counterpart.

The comic was trash.

Spoiler:
Big Daddy was just a loser with delusions of grandeur and his child the apparent result. Kick-ass' relationship with the girlfriend character was completely based on the gay illusion and once dissolved she sicked her boyfriend on him, who in turn beat the shit out of him. The final scene with Hitgirl and the mafia thugs in the apartment floor was crap and badly realised.

That's the reason why I haven't started reading Kick-ass 2. That and the covers look crappola.

But I bet the film version will be fantastic. Regardless of the terrible comics.

I didn't like True Blood (saw all seasons, go figure 😉 )... and I thought the comic was very much like the film. I heard the developed most of it at the same time.

Did you ever read any of the True Blood novels?
I liked the show for the first season, then it fell apart swiftly.

The KA comic was terrible besides 3 issues. I'll give it that but the rest were weak. Being the first two issues detailing the kids venture into vigilantism. And the flashback issue of Hitgirl's origin. The rest was horrible.

I never read True Blood and I doubt I ever will, hehehe...

Well, as I said, I think the comic and the movie are very much alike. But it's clear you do not.

So covers to a comic is what brings you in......... 😬

thats more like the second thing for me, Its the story that grabs me more then the cover and besides JRJ's art works for Kick-Ass more then it did for when he was doing Avengers

i bet they'll slighty alter things from the comic to the movie, Like to see Mother****er and his gang shooting up a street and killing young kids get brought the screen, I doubt it would.

Who knows? hehehe
