Superman is not superior or even equal to Thanos in anything except having a cool cape.
Thanos stomps in a very nasty way, like when that guy's new girlfriend gets knifed around the end of the Friday The 13th remake. Imagine that, but with Superman and Thanos... and Thanos is, you know... doing the knifing.

Allan.... to be clear...1. You feel Superman is Thanos Superior in strength, durability and striking power correct? In all these catagories you feel Supes takes it?
I don't know about durability, which is rendered irrelevant if you're absorbing more punishment than you can cope with.
But yes, in terms of striking power (speed is power) and strength - dynamic, governed in large part by will power - I believe Supes is superior.

Doesn't change the fact that Superman can get out of the chains and get sundip and then kick Thanos' ass. As for the fight itself, Thanos is stronger, & more durable then Superman. Speed however, does to Superman.
Leaving the field
Combatants who leave the field of combat on purpose forfeit the match. If they are removed from the arena against their will (being punched, thrown, teleported, etc.) and can make it back under their own power in a reasonable amount of time, then they are still in the fight. Obviously, if a combatant leaves the field and cannot return under their own power, then they have lost.

I think that's definately what the OP wanted to prevent by putting on the chains on them both otherwise he wouldn't had stated that the chains are indestructible & enchanted

No man. If he can get away, the best strategy is to gtfo of him, the faster the better. Even with a sundip, Thanos still a Skyfather lvler, and would still overwhelm Sups.

Can Supes actually sun-dip amp just like that? I thought he had to like, take five or something. You know, soak it in for a while. If so, how powerful can he really get with a quick dip?
I mean, I know the dude said "leaving's a forfeit", but I'm curious about the sun-dip.
