Of course this doesn't change the fact that The Blade supporters frequently overrate him, and will ignore context to the point of arguing against it just to give blade a win that he otherwise could never achieve on his own.

people tend to have an easier time relating to characters similar to themselves (generally)...white people find it easier to relate to white characters as well.

Yup. Exactly right. Though my favorite character is an Asian girl. But I've never been considered "normal".

Him being overrated in the eyes of any number of people doesn't change the fact that he is overrated by a select few.

You can argue that he's not, but not through ad hominem which I guess you weren't able to pick up on my countering your ad hominem with another one.

Fact is that the blade fanboys have to ignore context to the point of arguing against it in order for blade to win.. that's what makes him overrated.
