How do you have your steak?

Medium. It still retains some taste and I don't have to worry too much about catching a disease from it being undercooked. But I rarely eat steak.

Medium well with mushroom and garlic sauce, steamed veggies and a nice cianti... PFFF PFFFF PFFFF!!

(that last bit about the cianti and the wierd noise was me not able to contain myself LOL)

and well done if I don't.

It's like between raw and seared.

Sorta, slightly cooked on the outside, and raw all the way through. Might be served cold too.

Either Rare or medium.

It's a restaraunt term... and it's seared on each side and the centre of the steak must be measured at room temperature
