Thor vs BRB

Started by Kris Blaze3 pages

It's Thor fighting for his live, giving it his all.

Shows how much he holds back. Even in that situation he was still holding back. Simply going all physical.

True. He arguably did better than the Odin Destroyer against the Celesital's in that arc (Though neither were able to effect the Celestials. Except Thor when Thor used his God Blast.). I find that amusing.

The destroyer did lop off a celestials arm though.

Buddy, I'm counting 2 energy attacks and one powered up swing in the first panel there. That's the best we can hope for 😄

Im not sure that was him "holding back" per se but rather was more an issue of the writers simply focusing more on the physical and neglecting his other abilities.

Shit, missed the two energy blasts. How the hell did that happen?

Anyways, a generic energy blast as powerful as they are, compared to the God Blast he might as well have been going pure physical. Gotta try and save face. 😮

Not working man, Godblast is suicide 😄

Did Thor use his most powerful attacks? No, so hence he was holding back his power. I didn't say he was holding back his strength and not hitting as hard as he could.

Do you have the next scans where Gaia "spelled wroung" Comes in to saves Thor. i wonder how powerfull she is as the Celestials seem to listen to her. I know she is above the skyfather level being an elder god but we never get to see anything " or at least to my knowledge"

That's because I'm holding back. I'm not trying as hard as I can. 😛

What do you mean suicide?

It requires him to use his own life-force, it's too risky.

Why would it be risky? We know it depends on how much of his life force he puts into Mjolnir so he can control the amount, and we also know that even when Mjolnir's fortifications are doubled it was destroyed channeling so much power and Thor still survived and got up to fight the guards. The only person it's risky for is the person it hits.

Not what i was saying at all. The point is that thor was trying his hardest to win that fight. (short of godblast which he later decided to use). However we didnt see him attempt to use antiforce, vortexes, soul absorption etc and a multitude of his other abilities because while the writers were focusing on him going all out, the way they portrayed it neglected those other attacks. This is common place with characters who are extremely versatile. Just look at fights between cosmics and other high level beings and such and most of the time all u ever see is them throwing blasts at one another even though they could do so much more. When u look at it from the "in universe" perspective, does it mean that the characters made a conscious effort to hold back some of their powers? No, its more of the writers neglecting their other abilities because there are so many.

So like I said, Thor was going all out physically and so on but was holding back his most powerful attacks.

By most powerful attack, if ur referring to the godblast then yes. Aside that not really. U have to draw the line between situations in which a character willfully inhibits his or herself and others in which the writers simply neglect the characters other abilities

So you concede and admit I was right and realize all your posts were just a pointless waste of your time as I was laughing my ass off. The fact that your favorite character is a naked dude riding a surfboard should tell you something about yourself. F@ggot.

Spoiler:
In all honesty I see the point your trying to get across, and I was just trying to piss you off this entire time. I was just joking. Lol.
