and on this forum, handbooks don't take precedence over what was on panel.

and even if you wanted to go with the rationale that the pf had been blown in to a billion pieces by the emp, what possible bearing would that have on the outcome of the match? jean was housing the pf at the time, as she was on her way to becoming wcp. are you honestly equating the phoenix that could bend 616 to her will to the chick that got fried by xorn? they're not the same. neither is she equal to the dark phoenix.
