What I find disturbing about that animal crusher video is why are they crushing them all into the same thing... is that just to get rid of the animals, or cutting it all up for some food source... I only watched about a minutes worth so if they said at the end, bla.

Chicken Vindaloo

It's from a rendering plant. It's where animals that have died for whatever reason get turned into useful stuff.

Lard, tallow, pet food, lubricants, soap etc.

Oh god, I used to work at a place where they did that. It was awful when they'd throw them in there partly alive.

If we can get enough interest in this maybe we can have a forum for it.

Or get back to cooking and not to horrible acts towards animals.

whaaa?

not really a recipe, but this helped me out in college like no other. since most of the students have access to a microwave, but no oven, try the following if you love ramen [which was my food staple]

- empty noodles into a microwave-safe bowl.
- add tap water so it fills 1/2 bowl.
- add pouch of flavor.
- take spoon or fork and stir in flavor, flip noodles so both sides have touched the flavored water.

-put in microwave for two minutes.
- open microwave, stir, flip noodles over [they should still be mostly in the square]
- run microwave for two more minutes.

- use oven mitt [or at least paper towels] to transport ramen to table.
- enjoy!

(more) edible and vitamin enriched Chocolate Malt-O-Meal:

Follow the recipe on the box but in the middle of cooking, stir in a teaspoon of freeze dried coffee and a two spoons of chocolate malt ovaltine.

Oh I love instant noodles, I adore the ones I get from Chinatown, it's the only place here where I can get the Cup Noodles(especially Spicy Seafood). For ones from the supermarket I shove my Maggi Chilli sauce in, Tabasco and various other lovely yummy things.

Mama Pork flavour, and Koka Chicken flavour are gorgeous too.

*drools*

I haven't got any at the moment... 🙁

One scoop of vanilla ice cream.

One table spoon of Peanut butter.

8 oz of non fat milk.

Blend and add cinammon.

Voila!

I'm thinking about posting some raw recipes. Should those have a disclaimer such as "prepare at your own risk" or "make sure your meat comes from a fresh and trusted supplier"?
