* 2 eggs, separated
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 1/2 cup melted butter
* 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed

Preparation:
In a small mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; set aside. Beat egg yolks; add milk and melted butter. Sift dry ingredients together; add egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth and fold in blueberries. Gently fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in a hot waffle iron.
Makes about 6 blueberry waffles.

These are sickeningly awesome.

I would eat those waffles, a stack.

It's possible and I considered that before posting. But, I didn't want to make an incorrect conclusion. I'll also not be mean to a potential new member who has foreign languages! peopeopod!

Hi, adammatthew431! Welcome to KMC.

I dunno, I've been thinking about it before and should we have a forum rule about posting disclaimers about dangerous recipes? I mean I love Tar tar and gored gored and carpaccio, but I know that unless you have a trusted meat source and you know what you're doing, you could end up in the ER. Definitely no fugu recipes no matter how tasty since you can't even buy that in most of the world without a license.

I need some Alfredo advice. What vegetables or mushrooms are best added? I'm thinking baby spinach, Porcini mushrooms, and Raw eater mushrooms with a bit of basil. yes? no?

Cold Cure aka a drink that will turn you pee neon:

1 bottle Emergen-c vitamin c shot
2/3 part organic pomegranate soda (should be made with juice, not syrup, usually has a bit of apple juice in it too.)
1/3 part chilled rosehip tea
2 Tbsp Tang

Serve in tall glass, stirred.

Scalloped Corn

3 cups corn
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Buttered bread crumbs (i use crushed Ritz crackers instead)

1. Combine all ingredients except bread crumbs. Pour into buttered 1-1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs or Ritz crackers.
2. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
3. Stuff face.

This sounds like it's begging for garlic and basil.

Hmm, I might try that next time. Usually I just coat it with a ton of Ritz crackers. And by "ton," I'm talking an entire sleeve.

maybe powdered french onion soup mix?

Anyone got any good pumpkin pie recipes or anything involving sweetened condensed milk? I've got a stockpile of it because it's an awesome honey substitute when none is available but I feel it can be put to better use.

Subway Cookies

Dunno if you get the "Subway" chain in every country, but I love their cookies and here´s a recipe I used yesterday to try and reproduce them, left them in the oven too long though so some got a bit too brown. I put after eights on 2 of them when they were still hot and spread it about which was nice🙂 Any more cookies recipe´s would be appreciated.

subway style cookies

3 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
3 large eggs
1 package chocolate chips, nuts or whatever you like in your cookies.

Preheat oven to 375°F / 180°C
Mix flour with baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and pudding mix.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Beat in eggs; gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and other stuff.
Roll into balls and flatten slightly or drop by teaspoon full on a non greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° / F 180 °C for 8-10 minutes.

Pumpkin Ravioli

* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
* 1 1/4 cups chicken broth
* 1 (14 ounce) can pumpkin pie filling

Directions

1. Bring a pot of lightly-salted water to a boil; cook the ravioli in the boiling water until tender, about 5 minutes; drain.
2. Prepare a skillet with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic in the hot skillet until brown. Stir in the sage, thyme, cayenne pepper, chicken broth, and pumpkin pie filling; bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 10 minutes. Ladle over drained ravioli to serve.
