😆
I know what forum this is...I've been posting here for three years. I was just stating that the movie Swamp Thing is the only version Hulk could hope to defeat.
DC(Vertigo) Swamp Thing is more like a cosmic being these days.

It's really not the thread itself, unless you make a spite thread. Silver Surfer vs Robin would be a spite thread, for example. You just have to create a thread with interesting comic characters that are close in power levels. Try not to create a thread with an obscure character that not many people know about, unless you provide links, scans, etc...that describe who that character is.
Again, don't worry. People not responding to your threads has nothing to do with you being new. Keep creating interesting threads, and other posters will respond. It seems the trend lately is discussing uber powerful cosmic characters. If you create a thread like that, I'm sure you'll get responses.
Eventually? What, assuming the fight goes on a while? "Eventually" is just bullsh*t. Hulk doesn't get tired. The longer any fight goes on, Hulk just gets more powerful. Given that Swamp Thing's immortal, Hulk still wouldn't win, but Swamp Thing would eventually just be at a point where he keeps getting wrecked and reforming, but there's no way for Swamp Thing to "eventually" beat Hulk. If he can't do it early, he doesn't do it at all.
If Swamp Thing can't KO Hulk early, then it becomes an indefinite stalemate. But the longer any fight goes on, the advantage always slides to Hulk's side. In the case of fighting immortals though, that just means stalemate.
That's the bottom line. Swamp Thing can win, as he's well into Hulk's range, but he'd have to do it early.
So, yeah, Swamp Thing can win, but when you add "eventually", that's where it becomes bullsh*t. If Swamp Thing wins, it's early, or not at all. So don't think I'm contradicting anyone. I'm clearly stating Swamp Thing can win. Not necessarily always does, though. But the longer the fight goes on, the more it becomes a fruitless and endless battle. It's not like his power-set gives him a distinct advantage or anything.
EDIT: F*ck me, how many times did I repeat myself here?

Hulk does get tired. He got tired when he fought Cain for the first time.
