And we a re talking about a guy who wrecks entire teams consisting of mid to high level metas alone and is consistent at that (prep or no prep)

Mr.X is cool but the fanwanking he gets becuase he fought 2 characters before getting blasted to hell is insane.

tactical mind means nothing when your opponent maps on to your impulses and reflexivly blocks dodges each attack like a spider senses on steriods. Then add in the fact he can literally read DS mind as well, means being more tactical could even be a disadvantage. Not to mention Mister X is more skilled of the two.

If its a random encounter X might win if its against a prepared DS X loses.

DS could easily mine the area with explosives leaving X only one avenue of escape whee he will be waiting X cant predict explosions he might dodge them but he can predict them. or DS uses AOE weapons to herd X to where he wants him to be again X could predict it he wont be able to do anything about it.

DS straddles the fence between peak and slight superhuman just like cap......... he is a faux high MA due to his stats..

he doesnt have a superior edge significant enough to completely outclass Mr. X

Pretty much, Slade's strength is around class 2. Physically he is more or less inline with Captain America.

DS is well beyond peak human.
He is clearly low meta.
He has physically overpowered Dona Troy, a gorilla shaped Beast Boy (with one hand nonetheless) plus the feat that states his strength is equal to 100 men.

Thus the proven physical advantage.

And yet at the same time he's struggled with Batman and even less than that Nightwing. Which would put him right around peak human. DC has stated that he has the strength of ten men not 100.

Strength wise, I don' think he has struggled with Nightwing.
