The ki's did bring up Vegita and goku fusing saying that they need to because buu is stronger than ever and vegeta ended up crushing the rings.

Then the ki's say "how do you plan on beating him, he's stronger than ever", which basically means he was stronger than any other buu.

actually Ki offered his rings. and oku said no because they woulndt need it. Now think about it if kid buu was stonger than gohanbuu dont you think they would have needed fusion fighting him seeing as how they needed fusion against gohan buu. USE LOGIC MAN.

That entire arc wasnt about LOGIC, it was about goku not wanting to fight due to him wanting to have someone to take his place when earth needed a hero.

Goku held back during the entire buu story line. He could have killed fat buu but he didnt because there were new heros taking his place. He could have killed super buu but he didnt bc gohun was preparing himself for that buu.

Goku didnt kill kid buu in the beginning bc he wanted vegeta to get a chance to fight. Goku did his usual, held back. Goku was the strongest during the series along with kid buu being the strongest buu. Hell, didnt two regular super saiyans give gohun buu a challenge. Super saiyan 3 goku would shit stomp on two super sayains.

Could have killed Fat Buu yes, he admitted this. But wrong on all other accounts.

actually your wrong 2 regular saiyans ran away from gohan buu

all you just said has nothing to do with the fact that goku said we need to fuse in order to beat gohan buu.

In fact goku wasnt sure he could beat kid buu which is why when vegeta mentioned the dragonballs goku thought he was going to say wish gohan back to life because he knew gohan could beat buu

Also when Buu absord gotenks he stated " This is the birth of the strongest possible Majin. Icant get any stronger than this."
Buu was also aware of his past original self.

After that he absorbs gohan making him even stronger. This proves that gohan buu was the strongest BUU

Even if Goku heals 100% after er match, he aint beatin' Gohan.

Using DBZ logic, he's not beating Gotenks (PL is to high, I doubt Goku would cause him to even flinch with any of his attacks) so he stops at 6 IF he can get by fat Buu (even though he did state that he could have beaten fat Buu, he did have a bit of doubt and they seemed evenly matched).

Dude yea, totally.

Cell was the single best villain DBZ had.

Fixed

Why?

Cell ddn't really have a goal of his own, he just basically built to destroy everything.

I thought Cell's goal was to terrify everyone with his power

I thought it was just to prove his own strength? To be "perfect."

Perfect in destroying everything.

I thought Cell's goal was to destroy the universe. He said it like 100 times in the anime.

Still better than the goal Gero originally had for him and all the other Androids (to kill Goku), which Cell accomplished anyway when he made his body blow up. I agree that Cell was the best villain DBZ ever had, but that's just a matter of personal preference I guess.

That said, it would've been better IMO if the series had ended after the Cell Games, with Goku wanting to stay dead (yeah, I know it was originally intended to end after the Frieza saga), since the Buu saga was utter crap for the most part (though not nearly as much as GT).

Cell was pretty bad imo. He had no motivation besides "I want to destroy stuff". Which is pretty much what buu is as well, but less coherent. Frieza was OK, I could at least understand his motive even though it was generic. Radditz had probably the most plausible motivation, since it came down to "trying to make his job easier."

Freeza was the single best villain for one reason, in terms of true villainy Toriyama never topped him in DB or Z.

Cell's motive did nothing to detract from his actual character, which was not only an independant, but he even pulled off the savvy sense better than Frieza ever did. A simplistic motive was, if anything, something that was lacking after repeating the whole immortality wankery for the past three arcs.

Frieza was f*cking worthless before the idea of continuing the series was conceived. As far as outright villainy is concerned, he was paint-by-numbers with generic motives, lack of any decent backstory, and his only real saving grace came from being the first character to actually blow up a planet, something Buu did repeatedley upon returning to normal

Oh, and the whole "looked like a woman" jazz too.

Plus you forgot to mention how his cruelty has been completely unmatched in the series.

Oh, and how the only person who took a genuine pleasure in torturing his foes more than him was probably Buu.

Oh, and how he lacks any redeeming quality, he is sadistic, sociopathic, and a coward.

You say Freeza is generic...Yet your favorite villain is Cell? Who just wanted to show off how strong he was?

Freeza's goal for immortality was simplistic, but really, what else is there for him? He had already controlled a large portion of the universe, why not desire immortality to rule it forever?

Not one DBZ character matches Freeza in sheer villainy.

To be fair, Cell has some of Frieza's cells (and that of his father's), giving him basically the same cruelty aspects and genuine pleasure as Frieza in torturing his foes, which was especially evident when he pushed Gohan beyond his limits by sending out Cell Juniors to torture/kill the Z fighters, snatching the Senzu Beans before he did so, and stomping on poor # 16's head when that was all that was left of him.
Not to mention, getting absorbed by Cell with your skin/body being sucked right out of your clothes (and into his tail) can be seen as the most cruel kind of death shown in the series. Sure, Buu absorbed people too, but did so in a more childish way by making them chocolate or candy.
