He is not soloing. I don't see Thanos doing what Monarch did in countdown and arena. Even then, it can be a stalemate if Thanos can't take a hit from a universal destroyer.

remember, during "arena" monarch simultaneously owned every version of captain atom throughout the multiverse + numerous GL's + several superman... with utter ease [something i honestly can't imaging thanos doing.] and as far as h2h goes, monarch was able to no less than stalemate prime [as we saw during "countdown".]
