Yea and you are wrong. It stated on the web sight he beat him no mention on Sidious letting him self loses. Thats a misconception. It even stated in the director cut that he beat palp by lucas him self. It a stated fact, there much you can debate on who better yad yad, but Mace did beat Sideous and Sideous tried and was beaten. This has been confirmed by numerous sources and Lucas him self.

Actaul it was said those are the only two that every bestest him. But this also when he was much younger so accounts stated he was not even a jedi knight yet. Also Dooku was scared shitless of Mace he ran several times from Mace, and the short duel they did have mace crushed him and he ahd to be saved by a bunch of driods and fled

No he never was a Jedi. Thats one of the main reason no one suspect him. He was trained by a powerful sith who he killed in his sleep.

Just wondering - didn't Samuel Jackson demand that fighting scene with Palpatine? I heard that the initial scenario was much different.

No, it was suppose to be much more action, but due to the physical limitation of the actor play Palp they had to change the fight a little, but the outcome was always the same.

Also to people said Vaapad not about speed is miss informed. Maces certainly was which is why it called the Vaapad which is an eight arm create was lightning fast attacks. It was said Vaapad made the user appear to be striking with 8 blades.
