Ok I'll start by saying hi to everyone "HI", I'm new to this particular RPG forum but I'm by no means new to RPing. I made a few RPG's of my own and I think this would be a good place to take advantage of all my work. I figured I'd try and start with one of my first RPG's and see how it goes.

Its name is "Hunting The Gurtha Maten", it's a fantasy RPG in a medieval world...
The year 200 the world was hastily over populating itself, disease, lack of food and room was quickly causing the deaths of millions a year. Until finally a great plague whipped out humanity but not everything was killed by this plague, humans created thousands of new species that were hidden from the world.
Thousands of years pass and these hidden species escaped and started populating earth, magic soon crept in to greet the newcomers and the world was reborn.
But a new species of horrible creatures that can not be killed has come to rid the world of peace and joy. We will set out on a hunt to find a way to kill these beasts and bring the knowledge to the world. Only this way will any of the creatures on earth have any chance to win a battle against these beasts and eventually a war to rid them of this earth.

That's the story in short, basically we set out into the wilderness to kill a supposable un-killable beast (Death Eaters or Gurtha Maten in elvish).
There are Elves, Dwarfs, Dragons, Orcs, Centaurs, Fauns, Nymphs and any other fantasy creature that comes to mind in this world and a fairly good explanation on how they got there.

The rules are simple:
~*~You have never killed a "Death Eater" and will not kill one until I say so....yet.
~*~Do not give yourself super weapons, super magic, super strength or anything els that could be super (ex. A sword that shoots lightning, killing everyone in a 20 yard radius). We are aloud to flee from a Battle and we may have to do so many times, it's what makes RPing fun.
~*~Everything left of Humanity is gone unless I say otherwise.
~*~ READ THE WHOLE STORY! (if i get permission to post it)

Other than that you can do just about anything that comes to your imagination, a more in depth story and set of rules will be set out if I get permission.

Hey it could be anything but i was just under the impression that I would get a response within a day or two at most, instead i seemed to have killed the thread for the time being.. 😕

ok ok ok I just thought about this. This was mainly a book I wrote a while ago but I think it would make a wicked rp. Just like most of my stories it's a vampire rp. Ok seven student that go to a college......any college cos I can't think of one but the thing is one day theythey only turn upto college. Or so they think (By the way they are in a night class) When they go and try to find someone they get more then they wanted. Anyone can join and somepeople may die or get turned......

So thats two other members joined mine...gimme an idea to what kinda positions you want ppl.

Kohldia I like your resident evil RPG sounds like a cool idea, I liked the movie so I should like this, I'll join.
I'll think of a position once I get a better idea of what's gona go on..

Unlucky mate. It's just that not many people read the new game ideas thread. Normally when you get permission to make it more people will read it.

Your game sounds good, but I suppose there's just been too many other RPs with the same premise that just don't work. If you have a look at Usgaraks games, you'll see they work a lot better. Ones without rules just tend to slowly deflate, like a helium balloon 🙁 I know, one was mine.

I'm new around here! I wanna start a heavyweight RP with the people here. It will have a deep story and I need 6 characters (3 girls and 3 boys) to start with.
The setting is yet to be posted and everything, but I wanted to know if we have people interested and also to get permission.

we need players who make nice descriptive posts (No 1 line replies) and that have the time to play the game. We will have two GM's, so it will be quiet organized and everything.

PS: It will be a final fantasy like RPG. There wont be magic or summons, but there will be crystals. It will also be like D & D, you have to take good care of your character and role play well!

well I apriciat the responce but i actualy do have quite a set of rules and boundries, I just didn't put them all into this thread cause I thought I'd scare off anyone who read it.
Well thanks again, I guess I'll just have to mingle a bit, get to know people and maybe I'll be able to get one started eventualy.

Kohldia Leader (me...I'll choose what I want later and whoever's got that will have to endure a little scrutiny, so watch out for that.)
Second in Command (2IC)
AcrypT Stealth (You'll also be the Scout, mostly at the forefront of the pack, be prepared and you need to be a good, solid writer.)
Munitions (demolitions, logisitcs rolled into one I decided)
Medic (You don't have to be particularily military oriented for this one...just be some sort of doctor ok? 😛)
Navigation (Maps, Geography in general...all that stuff)
Communications (Will most likely be at a minimum but its best that we have one anyway.)
Civillian specialist (you can be a mercenary...whatever)

Stealth sounds like somthing I'd enjoy, I've always went for those type of charecters in RPG's I've played in.

if ur talking about the movie, then the third one is called Resident Evil: After Life, but sounds ok, but are normal people gonna be in it or only the black 66 team

This is just a role play following on from the movie, not the actual game or the third part of the series...and normal people are allowed to be in it...hence my allowance for a civillian 😛
