~ The Plot ~

After the devastation of Racoon City, Umbrella was implicated in the manufacture of biological weapons and was ultimately shut down. Taking their research underground, a group of devoted Umbrella employees are continuing their work. After successfully replicating the T-Virus, the group set to work on manufacturing the more powerful G-Virus. Umbrella is continuing their operations, concealing their research in an underwater lab located hundreds of miles offshore, disguised as an abandoned oil platform. But below the surface lies an intricate circuit of tunnels and passages leading down to the massive research complex.

A team of S.T.A.R.S recruits have been monitoring Umbrella, not convinced that the corporation would simply shut down its operations, anticipating that they would take their research underground. Surveillance has proven that the ‘abandoned’ oil platform has been teeming with life, up until recently that is. The S.T.A.R.S are preparing to infiltrate the lab, but they are not the only ones…
A small group of unknown operatives, working for Albert Wesker, have been sent in.
Both teams have the same objective, retrieve the virus…

~The Layout~

The underwater complex has four floors, each very expansive.
B1 – Supply storage, Cafeteria, Bunkhouses, Employee lounge, Surveillance. (nothing out of the ordinary)
B2 – T-Virus development labs, Observation rooms, Virus storage rooms.
B3 – Virus chambers, Bio-Hazard Emergency Room, Mutation containment chambers, Advanced genetics lab.
B4 – G-Virus development labs, Controlled infection chambers, G-Virus ‘product’ containment and observation.

All ‘Virus’ related rooms are restricted access and can only be entered with an Umbrella I.D, or a Computer Specialist bypassing the code. Or of course blowing the door open…

~ SPECIAL RULES ~

The S.T.A.R.S team are an entirely new squad being led by an experienced member (i.e. Chris, Barry, Jill, etc.) There can ONLY be 1 existing character used, all others have to be new. First Come, First Serve…

Wesker’s team are unknown operatives, the team may include Ada Wong and/or Jack Krauser (But not Wesker himself), all others must be new characters. First Come, First Serve…

If you want to kill/maim/harm a character, please make sure that person has thoroughly agreed to it, to save arguments later. Thank you.

We are certain that Umbrella are continuing their research in a hidden underwater facility beneath the oil platform. Though we saw a number of Umbrella scientists up on the platform a number of days ago, there has been no sign of life since. The virus may have been leaked, so keep your guard up. Regardless of the situation, you must retrieve a new sample of the virus to prove Umbrella have not stopped their research. You will arrive by helicopter on the platform itself.

Relocation to Balamb is the best choice for those parents not yet ready to part with their children. Normally, visitation hours at our facility are from 1600-2200. We try our best to make sure classes are not interrupted.”

“Generally, classes and training courses range from 0700-1600. Students are free to do as they wish with their free time, including leave the campus. Well, I hope you've enjoyed my idea. I've never hosted an RPG before, but i've found something that holds my interest and I want to do it right. I want it to be an enjoyable experience. So tell me what you think. Here is some rules I am going to lay down. Of course, they are open to discussion.

General Rules
- Original characters only. Squall, Zell, Rinoa, Selfie and others of the main cast will all make appearances in the story; but i'd prefer that everyone creates their own student and backstory. All characters must be submitted and judged before being admitted to the game.

- No one starts as a SeeD member. Trainings and missions will be scheduled regularly on Sundays. I'll give you guys notice ahead of time. When the Headmaster deems a pupil fit, they will be awarded with the title of SeeD. (It'll be awarded to people who actually took the time to role play and get the most out of their game experience.) Those who havn't done well enough RP wise might be removed from the school.

When creating a character keep in mind the ultimate goal of that character. Will be become SeeD? A faculty member like Quistis? Will he be on the Blitzball team? If one were to opt to teach a class it would not bother me. Remember ages range from 5-21. If someone gets SeeD rank then they can be older than 21.

Your character could also be a transfer from another Garden. Trabia or Galbadia.

- All posts should be at least 100 words long. Smalltalk conversation like, "Sup" is discouraged and description and lengthy posts are encouraged. (Just because I prefer to see actual role playing capability in a game.)

- Feel free to create subplots for your characters. Of course, it'd be nice if I had a heads up too.

- A roster of active characters will be created and reposted when new characters are added. Those who are not on the roster should be ignored until they are officially in the game. This is to preserve the flow of the game and keep people from messing it up.

- The game will not be open to everyone. Consider your character submission (via PM to me) an application. If it's done well and has actual thought put into it then you will have a spot in the game. We're trying to create a story here. 🙂

Setting
World of Final Fantasy VIII and the Balamb Gardens school. Time period - Squall and the others are students at the school, but have not left on their adventure yet.
- Dormitory (Students are allowed to have two students to a dorm room.)
- Cafeteria
- Classrooms
- Plaza by waterfountain and elevator
- Blitzball arena
etc...

War of Kurtulmak is a small, exclusive RPG built for several players, minimum 4, maximum 7 (Anymore and fighitng would be patheticaly easy 😛). It is DND-based, set in the city of Baldur's Gate (It has nothing to do with Bhaalspawn), around the time of Balduran the founding of the city. War of Kurtulmak would follow the adventures of a party of five soldiers of Baldur's Gate caught in the war between a goblinoid nation and Baldur's Gate, being driven by the Goblin god Kurtulmak. The players would start at level 3, and probably end the game at level 12. Experience is given for combat, solving "puzzles", dialogue... basically, anything that is above normal for the character. The difficulty of this RPG is probably rated as "Normal" in most games. So... would anyone be interested in playing it?

Starting,
We will start from the X-Mansion with the Professor with his class interrupted by a loud crash,
the X-men will come running to the front of the mansion to see the Hellfire Club attacking the mansion,
trying to take the children from the mansion and the fighting starts with Wolverine sheathing his claws and Cyclops eyes shimmering.......

Ok, I guess X-Men can go ahead- make sure it keeps the idea of a Hosted game though.
