that does not mean anything. I mean mr x has no idea what cho powers are and simply stated that by apearence alone. also what cho did makes little senses to be honest, I mean the level of strength and speed and skill in order to pull that stunt off is not something pure intellect could achieve or should.

Have you ever seen an appearance of Amadeus Cho before this?

He does this kind of thing all the time.

Not sure what your point is but technically Bullseyes or Cyclops should be able to pull-off similar feats.

Well, instead of predicting movement based on intuition or experience or something like Bulleye or Cyclops, he's calculating the angle and speed that his opponent is pushing off with their left foot, etc, etc.

I hated that, I sometimes get the feeling the reason they punked Asgard was to get back at JMS. Yeah there were complaints some comics came slow when he was at Thor but J. Michael Straczynski planned great and he done wonderful building up the power and mythology of Thor. JMS revealed himself and Marvel's Editor Joe Quesada are no longer on speaking terms. Perhaps after JMS was fired Joe ordered Asgard to be in the cross hairs and agreed with Bendis it would be a good idea to disassemble everything JMS built up. I hate the way Asgard looks and feels now, none of them have any credibility anymore. Bendis made them Earth's greatest jobbers.

Cosigned. Honestly, as an avid Thor fan, it's gotten to ridiculous levels. I expect more from "gods", especially one that carries the history and prestige Thor does. At this point, I'm not quite sure which direction Marvel wants to go with Thor, but for the sake of his credibility, I hope it's something notable and relevant. I've accepted the fact that the days of his more spectacular feats are long past, but at least give him something.

But hell, what do I know?

No, that's not at all why they did this. To "get back at" a top-selling writer with a successful career outside of comics and a famous name, who turned "Thor" into one of Marvel's biggest books?

Jesus. Of course that's not why they destroyed Asgard.

(And I'm saying this as someone who thought JMS' run on Thor was just plain unreadable).

I'm sure JMS will get back at Marvel when he writes Superman.
I can see it now - Superman makes peace with his fellow kryptonians, and New New Krypton is established floating in the air above Oklaho...er, Kansas 😛 , and lots of issues with deal with the wacky culture clashes about how they can't kill these lower life forms because they're a bunch of country hicks. 😄 And the story will unfold at a pace of 4-6 issues a year...

I just hope after Siege, Marvel can make the Asgardians even relevant anymore in the "Heroic Age"

Is Thor really going to let Balder be the caretaker of the Asgardians (with him returning to the Avengers), or are there definite plans for Odin's return?

i highly doubt odin returns...most likely it will be Balder

Odin coming back would kinda just be a step backwards, imo.

well Odin's the only thing keeping Surtur from coming back soooooooo idk

How about they just remove Asgard from earth entirely, place it back in it's proper place, and allow the Asgardians to do their own thing; Whether it be cosmic or otherwise.

Secondly, can we cease with all the jobbing? It'd help a lot.

I find it pretty likely that they're just going to put everything back with Asgard, which is a shame because I was really liking how the Asgard people and monsters were interacting with Earth.

QFT.

Just putting Asgard back in its own dimension and/or reviving Odin just seems like erasing all the development which has happened thus far. Thor's supporting cast is awesome, mortal and god alike, and I really liked how JMS was able to keep things feeling larger than life and very human all at once.

👆

I don't care how their status will change, due to jobbing to low tier villains or what nots. As long its entertaining and seeing how they interacting on our level (near reality) draws me into more reading. As long, Aunt May doesn't pwn an asgardian, I'm fine with current situations.

Loki's Siege one-shot was pretty damn awesome. 👆

So since

Spoiler:
Loki is now banned from Hela's realm,
is he now Mr. Immortal, immortal (ie. totally impossible to kill)?

That's a good question. I don't know I'm guessing that more up to a writer to decipher the way they want.

I could see it working both ways.

This was posted on another site about Siege#4 by a guy who has posted other spoilers before and the have been near the mark, so make of this what you will.

Spoiler:
To summarize: It has been revealed that Void is the incarnation of all the Marvel Earth Evil (all the evil radiated since earth was created), Sentry does not really exist, Void made Sentry not to destroy earth. If Void had destroyed earth, Void would have been died, because he could not feed himself any more. ( Kinda Mangog with hate ?)
Void proceeds to kill any other asgardians that try to stop him, barring Thor, while a bunch of guys find out Gungnir to kill The Void but they fail and die in the attempt. Ares son (i did not know he had a child) fails too, but succeeds in hurts the Void (don’t ask me how) then Void kills him. Heroes, Villains, the Asgardians left on the ground (a few) join forces to stop Void, but he beats them all. Thor is on his knees praying his father to help him and give him the strength he needs to win the fight. A light lights him suddently and he hears a voice (I don’t know if he’s Odin or Bor, can’t say this) asking Thor to believe in himself and remembering all old battles. The Voice tells him also that he’s the most powerful and bravest hero the world ever knew ( I asked my friend twice about this part and he confirmed, yes Thor fans can’t complain any more, they will eiaculate for years I bet) and that he can’t give up. Thor gets up really mad (his eyes are red don’t ask me why) and he feels strong, stronger than ever (maybe the Odin’s force ?) he hits Void with (my friend says that there is no mention of Godblast, but it could be) with a powerful ray coming from the hammer and makes a hole into Void chest that he can’t heal (magic > Void ? So Why Strange’s magik had no effect on Sentry last time ?). Void starts crying for the pain... many tentacles of black light spurt everywhere…seen alternating Bob and Sentry faces until he goes down, Bob Reynolds is on the ground as in wwh#5 but this time he’s dead: there is no life in his body. Fury says something like “ this time for ever”..

that's pretty interesting actually...im not sure i like that tho....idk i guess i'll have to wait and see if it is indeed like that way
