Ack....

I'm trying to get a Star Wars roleplaying group together, as stated in the topic. This will be serious role playing only. This will be set sometime after Return of the Jedi, but before the New Jedi Order series and the Yuzzhan Vong invasion. I will be playing the role of one of the Imperial Remnants Admirals, and will be serving on my flagship, a Super-Class Star Destroyer, the Guillotine. I'm looking for people wanting to server on the Imperial Forces with me, people with the New Republic, and independent forces. I'm trying to get the largest possible group together as possible. You can submit your applications to me via e-mail, [email protected]

I'm going to see about having our own forums set up for the RPG, so it'll be cool and there won't be other topics clogging the board. There's going to be a lot to it, and you'll get the details if you're accepted. In your application, please include:

Character Name
Political Allegiance (New Republic/Imperial Remnants/Independents/Whatever)
Character Description (Age/Appearance/Background/Additional Information)
[Former?] Occupation (Pilot, Soldier, Smuggler, Officer, etc.)
Inventory and Possessions (Lightsabers, ships, droids, etc.)
Any additional information you would like to include (the more, the better!)

Please make these as descriptive as possible, and only apply if you'll be willing to commit and actually take part in this role playing experience on a regular basis. At the moment, I have 9 applications in. I want to get at least 15 before I start anything, so, send in your applications!

ANYWAY, uh, this will be hosted on a seperate site, with it's OWN FORUMS. It'll be large scale, and thus won't be for just a general "Star Wars RP" board. I'm merely posting here to see if anyone wants to join.

I want to run an adventure after that of the Return of the Jedi too. But with alternative case scenario.. It has a dice system and made from scratch stats and attributes to make everyone feel like they grow and evolve, while at the same time leaving even low-level people threatning..

Episode 7, RETURN OF THE SITH:
"Take your Jedi weapon! Use it. Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!"

The were Palpatine's last words as Luke frowned and with a swift strike, brought The Emperor and all his goals for conquest to the knees. He then saw his dieing father, tears rolled down the eyes of Luke and dampend the armour that kept him alive. Grasping for air he hugged his son, and said "it's over". And he died in his arms. Luke could only give a cold hard stair into nothingness "It's far from over father".

Twenty years later, after peace has been re-established. New Jedi have rosen and fallen, each trying desperately to discover what is The Force, and how to wield it un-peversely. Skywalker was beggeining to age, and saw a growing trend of using The Force for personal gain. He would normaly sense these disturbances and pick them out one by one. But he began to think "why?" there was a reason he never took an apprentice of his own, and there was a reason his father killed all the Jedi he could. There was too great a risk of falling to the darkside, people could not be trusted with The Force. It was too powerful for most to wield with discipline and rightouss cause, therfore there should be no reason to wield it at all. He was unable to convince Leia and Han Solo to help him establish a treaty and forbidding the use of The Force. So he bent thier wills, thinking to himself "it's for the greater good". And more and more people, became pawns to the scheme for "the greater good". Now Luke Skywalker, aging and bent on seeing The Force become a thing of the past, has tooken in an apprentice, her name was Eline. A spicy young vixen with lourd red hair and quite the bad attitude, who's parents were killed by abusers of The Force, who better to coutinue the cycle of keeping those who would undermine society under control? Luke trained Eline well, but Eline wasn't fond of how Luke ran things prior to how to contend with Force users. She saw him as soft, and leniant on alot of criminals who use weapons and actions the same way as they use The Force. So when his body began to fail him. She killed him. There will be no more Jedi after this one, bounty hunters are offered a hefty dose of credits for the extermination of all Jedi, and Elin is using The Force to persuade the other goverments to but a ban on weapons development. Naturaly some disgreed. This lead to arguments, arguments involving "if we had no weapons, there'd be no excuse for violance" "if we had no weapons, there'd be nothing to STOP the violance". This petty bickering resulted in a galactic civil war. A war you're caught in the middle of..

Ganner, please don't spam the boards; we are not here to provide you with advertising.

That's a fair pitch, SJ, so if you get a few players you can kick off.

That's okay, I tend to make pretty gritty systems. You won't be hacking away stromtrooper constantly. Well, you could.. but I wouldn't reccomend it if you want to survive for more then two posts lol..

I have something else than stormtroopers: my character will begin with ysalamiris.

I'd be trying to start that game one more time:

STAR WARS
NEW REPUBLIC EPISODE II
WHERE PAST AND PRESENT COLLIDE

Here's the plot: It is set a year after the fighting in Episode I (a.k.a. The Battle of Capinar) and both sides are resting in their bases, doing raids and small pitched battles. Two compulsory pilots can play: one Imperial, one New Republic. The rest may fight on foot if they want, they may use Clone Wars hardware if they want. Grand Admiral Ackbar, the New Republic chief of staff, launched an attack on Utapau, where an important base and large shipyards of the Empire are located.

Imperials:
1 Imperial pilot (your pick within Imperial craft)

New Republic:
1 New Republic pilot (your pick within the list of New Republic craft) (me)

Any extra character fights any way they want to.

Imperial craft:
TIE fighter
TIE interceptor
TIE Advanced X1
TIE bomber
TIE hunter
ARC-170
LAAT/i

New Republic craft
X-Wing
Y-Wing
A-Wing
B-Wing
N-1
N-2
LAAT/i

Anybody else can fight any way they wish (e.g.: cloned Imperial soldiers)

All this Jedi/Sith and lightsaber duels stuff is just too much, i myself have been learning to fight in the Jedi Kata with kendo sticks and blunt katanas. nevert-the-less, i am a HUUUUUUGE SW fan and i would like to join the mainstream games as the .net propaganda has lured me in...

P.S: i have a thing about Staff-Sabers and jedi robes...

'nuff said!

Well, feel free to check out the Campaign info thread for my upcoming Origina Trilogy game, and any of the ither games that are being run around here right now.

is the Origina game centered upon jedi/sith or is it a multi-char. class?

Should explain all...

STAR WARS
Episode VII
Shadow of the Republic

1,000 years have passed since the downfall of the Galactic Empire and now the Jedi are in the hundreds once again but a Sith has emegred out of the pact and is uniting the galaxy into civil war against the jedi.

I have an idea for a role playing game:

Star Wars: The Dark Alliance

Set a little over 1,000 years after the rise of New Republic, there is once more unrest in the galaxy. For years the senate has trusted the New Jedi Order with their lives, but three of the Council's best Masters broke off unexpectedly. After they broke off, other Jedi started to follow in their path. Under the rule of an evil dark jedi named Darth Rister, they formed what is now known as The Dark Alliance. They took over planets on the outer rim, making bases and space stations. They studied the ways of the Darkside, becoming a key enemy of the New Republic.
The Jedi who still remained faithful to the New Republic struggled to keep their members. They try desperately to keep the faith of the senators but only a few still trust them. Yet they fight valiantly next to the many clone troopers in a life or death struggle for the Republic. Many senators call it a second Clone War, but this one is different. No longer are we fighting against droids, but well trained Jedi, and after all...only a Sith deals in absolutes.

It's worth a try right? You can play as anything you want, any race, any occupation (Jedi, Dark Jedi, Clone Trooper, Senator, Bounty Hunter etc.) and join either side. Anyone?

Sorry, I'm new and I accidently started a new RP without getting permission. Is it not too late to get it?
