Bond °23

This sucks royally. I hope it isn't too long of a wait.

Trust me, there will be a Bond 23 ... eventually; the franchise is just too damn profitable for them to stop it here. I guess we're just gonna have to be patient.

To be honest, I'd rather they waited a couple of years in order to do it right, rather than MGM hastily banging out a sub-standard Bond film on the cheap to try and recoup some of their losses.

My only worry is that a long delay will mean the departure of the great Daniel Craig; after all, the last time studio problems held up production of the Bond franchise back in the early 90s, the series lost the vastly underrated Timothy Dalton ...

Yeah, that's what you have to be concerned about. Will this wait mean the Craig will be replaced?

The only good thing about the delay is that Craig might just do the decent thing and leave. The franchise is in desperate need of change.

When you get older you are going to feel very foolish when you look back at your support of such a bad actor.

Or rather fortunate to have had the chance to have been introduced to the series during the rejuvenated era.

He is going to go down in history like Dalton in that he will only do two movies and the majority of fans will dislike him.

I'm not sure where your getting your projections from? Most consider Craig to be the best since Connery. Dalton was good, but Craig is fairly better, as are his films.

I have not met one genuine Bond fan who thinks that Craig is the best since Connery. Most real Bond fans believe that honor goes to Brosnan.

Kind of hard to respond to that when you clearly have already determined what a genuine Bond fan is. There you go again with the "Most real Bond fans......".

Brosnan is the worst.

Brosnan is the worst. [/B]

Brosnan is far from the worst. The fact that you rank Craig higher than him is just a joke.

So were suppose to keep at this all night? 😬

I fear you will are doomed to have these discussions until you wake up and see sense.

Sense? You are in the minority.

You have that mixed up. You are the one in the minority.

The minority consisting of people who think Casino Royale is a great Bond film and Craig a great Bond. Happy to be onboard. 🙄

If you are happy back a mediocre actor and the worst Bond of all time that is your lookout.

I was gonna chide Kazenji for the insults on the last page but they happened months ago...

Personally I don't understand the dislike for Craig or Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace was just a bad film in general, but with CR they stuck closer to the Bond of the books, of which I'm a fan.

Daniel Craig is a very poor actor. Both of his films were abortions.
