Your point defeats your own; if I have a black belt and demonstrate that ability, and you just claim to have one. Who would everyone logically side with regarding who is the better martial artist? Exactly.
Sideswipe's bio can say what it likes, he hasn't exhibited any combat ability. He's never been in a fight that we've seen.
Therefore, Sideswipe's one shining moment against a fleeing Decepticon in car mode does not compare to what Bumblebee has done.

SS demonstrated that he could use his blades effectively. It's completely unreasonable to assume that SS is ineffective at combat and that he couldn't even hit BB with his blades. BB did beat his opponents, but he got hit as well, many times.

What you fail to understand, Placidity, is that I am not saying Sideswipe's weapons aren't good.
I'm saying that regardless of your points, you are assuming. It's judged by on screen feats. We do not know how combat able Sideswipe truly is, we don't know if even with two swords he would be capable of killing Bumblebee.
If someone started a thread saying "Grindor, Starscream and Megatron Vs Prime.", without the forest scene existing, you would rightly assume that Prime gets whooped. It doesn't matter if the ability is there to win, it's a matter of showing what we can see.
We haven't seen Sideswipe do anything worthy of being called the victor. We have seen Bumblebee do stuff.

Your question is loaded, as it pertains to your previous statement. Sure, they can cut into other robots, like I said, they're weapons.
Your "easily" assessment is unfounded, as there's a logical reason to believe it was able to slice through SW as they did because of a very specific scenario, ie there's no proof SS could cut BB or any other robot in half at any given time.
BB weapons that destroyed several larger and more powerful Decepticons, those weapons. Namely the tank, bulldozer and cat. That combined with his high-level of fighting prowess.
Edit: for the sake of further BS, I'll just say SS's blades are superior to BB's guns, just cuz. Still doens't change the fact that BB's fightning skills (and weapons) pull a win here, screen feats.
