ah, I never said morg has the UN or Norrin channels the crunch...merely that as "avatars" of the Phoenix...the Greys have some severe caveats on their durability, and one of the caveats was shown to be enough to kill the avatar, when a specific tactic is used. As a result of that tactic, the force remains, but the avatar does not. It is a viable tactic, however unlikely it may be.
