the average flash usually runs around 20,000 per hour. Jay Garrick the slowest of the flashes was going that and putting a strain on BA.
also funny little thing if he was going 20,000 how did he get hit by a bullet which travels many times slower?

Nope were do you get this crap.

Yea becuase we know how accurate hand books are right? or websights in which anyone with enough hero points can edit right?oh and I dont see speed, agility or reflex up there do you? also as I recall I was talking about Ares.
I never once argued that they dont posses super human strength or stamina. I argued they dont posses superhuman speed, reflexes or agility.
also sorry if that came off as insulting
I'm afraid when discussing the general characteristics of an entire race of people we are typically bound by the parameters set by company which created them. The handbooks and company bios may not be perfect but they have more authority than you or I.
Also, the bio doesn't list all of their superhuman ability, just some (hence the phrase "such as"😉. Just about every bio and description I've ever read, Olympians and Asgardians have been said to posses physical abilities (strength, speed, durability, reflexes) far greater than an average human. That's good enough for me, but you are certainly free to disagree.

Originally posted by BattlehammerNo. If a car is moving in a direction at 100mph, it' is totally possible for a car moving 30 to impact the side of the other. All they have to do is meet.
it the 100 mile car that hits the 30 mile car not the other way around, this is quite different. also 100 to 30 is a lot closer in speed then 20,000 miles to 1000

Who routinely loss to street level characters (ie bone clawed Sabertooth). You have to take the low showings as well as the high to really evaluate the character. Yes, thanks to Wolverine's jobber aura he was able to beat the Hulk (in some impossible to explain logically way) but that does not mean that Wolverine can then automatically win against anybody at the Hulk's level. For example, the Hulk has also beaten the entire Avengers. That does not mean that Wolverine could then repeat that feat.
Bone claw Sabretooth took it to Killpower who was matching Herc in an arm wrestling match, curbed rogue and outslugged ms. Marvel..... . 😕

1) He gets hit because he wants to have an excuse for killing bad guys. That makes him feel better.
2) He doesn't really need to dodge.
3) When he tries to, he does really good.
4) In some areas he is definitely more skilled.

I can't believe that you're saying that debating for a character in a given fight should revolve around whether he/she sucks or is a terrible character instead of their given attributes.ps hanging in a fight against Thor and Hercules (ie being comparable to them in physical characteristics) proves to me that a character can more than hang with Wolverine. Unless you believe that Wolverine > Thor and Herc.
Wolverine has beaten both ot held an advantage in h2h combat.. the only option Ares would have. 😬

And yet they never show it on pannel or have it stated, but you simply assume they do. Interesting. Rough-House is asguardian troll and his hand book stats list him with superhuman reflexes and ability far greater then his average brother's and Wolverien shown to be far faster then he. So by that logic wolveirne must be far within superhuman ranges of speed, reflexes and agility no?
