The Black Lanterns alone are destroying the universe
Did you even know what he asked? he asked what has Mistress death done? He was comparing Nekron to Mistress Death not death to the entire black lanterns. Death wanted the population thinned out and all she needed was Thanos not an army.

Black Lanterns would try to eat his heart. They don't ally themselves with anyone.

You think Nekron would try to eat his heart?

I think him being as unique as he is he wouldn't fall victim to any one dominant emotion.

I just see him being able to do what others wouldn't based on his relationship with the concept of death itself.

lol @ thanos' "rep" in some way saving him against the BLC.

you don't need one dominant one. you need just one of any kind.

it's not the same death. at all.

His rep got him where he wanted to with Annihilus.

I don't see the rings affecting him at all. He won't cast his lot with any of them save allying himself with the black lanterns because of his former nihilism and past feats.

I know, but why wouldn't Nekron want a worthy ally and then plan on screwing him over afterwards. Villains do it all the time to achieve their own means.

which has absolutely no bearing as to where it would "get him" with the BLC.

they don't use their rings. have you actually read any of blackest night?

the black lanterns would have no desire nor need to ally themselves with thanos. i really don't know where you got this from...

the black lanterns are capable of wiping out the entire universe. it's not like they need help.

But how can anything happen without Thanos' help? 😕 😆

When did I say the black rings would affect him?

Yes, I've read up till the point in which Atrocitus is coming for Larfleeze who is running scared.

I've also seen the black lanterns reform and use their own former memories and constantly talk trash to their victims. I've also seen evil Lois come after Ma Kent on the farm.

Because Thanos allied himself with another force taking on the marvel u. Annihilus wanted to annihilate everything as well.

So Nekron cannot be reasoned with?

It increased your chances with Thanos on your side.

this isn't an episode of "Mr. Rogers", quanch. forum battles simply don't work that way.
srsly

you said they wouldn't, which is redundant as they rarely if ever use their actual rings.

What bearing does them having their memories have on fighting Thanos?

Annihilus is a rational being, with concepts of greed and a thirst for power. The BL aren't like that at all. They're a force of nature.

Nekron would have no desire to ally himself with anyone, much less Thanos. He has the Spectre at his beck and call. He doesn't need anyone else.

You can disagree if you want galan. This is a topic most have already made their minds about anyways as Thanos losing. Then when someone comes up with a viable way for him to win the posters all come in and say nuh uh.

I was referring to the other rings not the black ones.

Nothing, you chimed in and claimed I didn't read it and misinterpreted my post with the word rings as meaning black rings. The rings basically just take you over when your dead and recruit you to their team. So they would have no effect on Thanos even I posted it as he is alive in this thread.

Nekron will fail. Thanos has taken on greater odds by his lonesome in his own quests for universal domination.

I think that Nekron would ally himself with a former nihilist who is a lover of death itself.

you don't think they would work at all? why not?

Nekron will fail because the villain fails, not because he's incapable of succeeding.

For what reason?

except "reasoning with him" isn't a viable tactic at all.

Then you know nothing of Nekron.
How is allying with the BLC (before they even existed) a viable option?
