Unless its Don Hall it can't. Thanos doesn't have a balance of emotions, he'd be mostly orange, red, yellow, and green but no a white light so he'd be taken over.

For Thanos to even come to this he has to seek out the black lanterns and be killed anyways which the thread stops. It's a non issue.

Please Quan let this thread die. The stipulations are such that its not PROBABLE Thanos could get the job done. It is possible with Thanos being great with prep, but more than likely he would fail. Mandrakk whether you like him/concept or not, was a very powerful character. In some respects God like. So, really I know you don't like to let things go but you've already said all there is to say. It should be left with it's not probable Thanos could accomplish this, but it might be slightly possible
