ABC logic works in this scenario. Superman has beaten on Darkseid numerous times, Surfer has all of supes strength and speed plus many other powers, so how does Seid win? That's like saying that even though WWH is more powerful than Thing, you can't use the fact that Thing beats someone as an example of why WWH would beat the same person.

and most of those occasions were due to some kind of circumstances, and from the reveal of past comics and Final Crisis those were also avatars. Darkseid has beaten Superman so shall we discredit those times?
