2009 Character of the Year

Which character in 2009 do you think is the best one?

I like roxas/xion/axel. they are great together. and are as close as anyone has gotten to deep meaningful dialogue, voice-actorless as it is.

Why is Batman on the list ??

not like Arkham Asylum was his First game.

I'd have to go with Marcus Felix and the rest of Delta Squad in GoW2. I know that the game came out in late 2008, but I still think their character development trumps that of those you listed.

For picking a 2008 game? or picking Delta Squad? I can't help but love them as characters, they all have there own personalities, all be them one dimensional.

Baird - The cynic
Cole - ... The cole-train?
Dom - The guy who's looking for his wife.
Marcus - The guy with father issues.

They're just brilliant characters.

I'm surprised there isn't like seven RE characters on the list.

Resident Evil's only decent character = Luis Sera. Simply for the ballistics joke.

I'm teetering between Riggs and Ezio. If neither, I'd just have to suck it up and say Batman, comic book character or not.

TBH i havent been very impressed by video game characters this year.

Alex Mercer (Prototype) or Cole MacGrath (InFamous)

Ezio just edges out Eddie Riggs for me. I don't count Batman as all his character comes from other sources.

Batman really should not be on this list at all. He's not a video game character.

Anyway, Ezio, obviously.

I voted Batman because he's still even more awesomer than all of those people.

King Bill from Super Mario Bros. Wii for being one of the biggest pains in the ass enemies of any side scroller.
