Nah, all kidding aside, when comes down to it Thanos is superior in nearly every single way. There is no proof the guy has a strength or damage intakelimit. Thanos is a beast. Hulk goes down faster than quanchi's mother with the speed force.

Surfer defeats Hulk by draining him... they have NEVER had an outright, straight up fight. Thanos is just lucky he isn't Gamma Basd or he would get drained as well if he fought Surfer. Surfer energy attacks along with his brute force wasn't dropping Hulk so he took the smart rout.
Thanos is getting put to sleep if he face Hulk in a fist fight. Its just that simple.

Thanos has shown the durability to take on Odin for a considerable amount of time who is Odin's equal. I think Thanos is higher than Zeus but it makes no difference here as Hulk isn't in the same league. He's just an elite top tier.
The strongest hulk barring wb burned himself out against sentry who fought the Hulk's fight. Thanos is on another level than any Hulk is.
