Surfer lost that fight on planet Hulk and I never said that Hulk was a martial artist, of course people would give a depowered Hulk a fight. When he gained his powers back, everything about him grew so exponentially that planet Earth had to prep to defeat him. Hell, they were terrified of his arrival.

I ENJOYED that fight with Thanos and Odin... one of the reasons I think Thanos is powerful as hell but he got thrashed in that fight just like Hulk got thrashed. Thanos showing was better (I admit) but it didn't prove anything to me that Thanos is physically>Hulk.
A Sentry that was going all out and let's not name everything a holding back Sentry has done. That was a great showing for both Hulk and Sentry and let's not even include the fact that one punch from the Hulk busted Sentry face open.

Surfer also had weakened powers and melee isn;t his thing not only that it was Hulk and the warbound vs. Surfer. Surfer only lost when he quit fighting back. Prior to he was dominating the hulk and friends.
Thanos didn't fight current but marvell did and he was easily owned by Thanos. Thanos has always been far more powerful than surfer has. Always, sport.
Thanos did a lot better and was never beaten. Hulk was beaten twice. Hulk was easily beaten at his own game to the point of embarrassment.
Sentry was flying into the Hulk's punches and was an unstable mess yet even he fighting the Hulk' own game burned him out. Thanos is smarter than Hulk, stronger, than Hulk, and more durable than Hulk.

Thanos is on a much higher scale. Take a look at the thor with the power gem story. Thanos took him on easily whereas Hulk's struggled to beat Thor for years without the aid of a power gem.
Come on PG... You know Thanos was weakened which was made clearly numerous times.. to say nothing of the fact that it was a bomb from Drax... as stated by brevport... Drax has an aura around him that causes Thanos to be vulnerable around him. Surely, you are just tyring to goad Quan when these factors are clearly evident.
