Hulk grabs him by the head...lifts him in the air... Thanos tries to kick, claws, punch his way out of Hulks grip, nothing happens. Hulk punch him in the stomach, keep punching, keep on punching... Thanos is still trying to get out of this hold, nothing happens. Hulk proceeds at punching until Thanos passes out.
I don't get why the concept of how beings like Thanos channel their power is so hard to understand. People like Thanos, Zeus, Odin etc can use their energy in whatever way they want, whether its blasting stuff, or channeling it into physical strength. The same power that Thanos uses to blast stuff is the same power he uses to amp his physical stats. So unless no amping is stipulated, Thanos still wins this. And comfortably at that.
Hell, minor cosmic types like The Surfer or even Nova can do it -amp physical stats-. People think just because they mainly blast shyte that that somehow translates to being outmatched physically when the blasting isn't allowed.

So you think it's more of an stalemate?
Don't forget, Thanos can't amp, blast or use his shields. He has only his strength and durability. So how is he gonna ko curren't Hulk who tanked punches of top tierss without even bothering, bi-beast and wendigo were even amped 1000 fold. How exactly will he put Hulk down? Thanos can tire and becomes weaker if the fights lasts long enough. This Hulk never tiers...

I think it comes from the fact that they don't engage in physical combat all to often but when they do it usually pretty impressive.

Bi beast and Wendigo was amped to skyfather levels and they couldn't even budge Hulk with their punches.

Ok so stips say Thanos can't amp? But the very nature of current Hulk is an amp, so basically it looks like you're trying for a cheap win here just so peeps can say Hulk beats a skyfather. If Thanos can't amp then sure, an amped Hulk "beats" a gimped Thanos eventually I guess.
