Azarl will check with Firak to see what it would take to convince him to either relocate or allow part of the forest to be used for lumber.

He can hardly relocate his entire society. I think bringing this to Firak should have group attention.

I agree.

What does everyone think? Garshak basically wants to use Firak's forest for lumber.

Azarl will check with Garshak to see if there is anything else he'd like, explaining that destroying Firak's forests would break a long-time allegiance with Firak's clan that the Dark Jedi are wary of doing.

A faster means of quarrying. Better cities need more stone. There's never enough.

So mining equipment and a means of transporting the stone? Would that anger any tribes that we are friendly toward?

Yup.

Yes on both counts?

No, on the first. It would only anger others via the power increase to Garshak.

I think we can handle that. It angers others in the same way that we support Firak, I'm guessing. Not a big deal.

We're always going to have someone angry with us anyway!

What's the name of Rianna's Epirean, btw? Just out of curiosity.

Neither Loincloth nor Blue-faced guy have a name, for reasons Rand understands.

Dually- who killed several during the final fight- is Baltan.

Haha. He killed several of the remainders in the last fight? Looks like I made a good choice 😛

Sorry, Gallador was the first to take interest in Torvus, and Galder allowed me to take him.

Sorry, what exactly is Garshak giving us in exchange for our aid? Would he aknowledge us as overlords, or give us part of the money from the trade?

What do you want from him?

-

Well, you'll have to sort that out with Dak...

Dak will gladly challenge Gallador to a duel for Torvus. A thief has attributes Dak is interested in honing.

We want total control of the market from Garshak, so that we can prevent the tribes against from gaining technology/weapons that we do not want them to have. Maybe a bit too late considering Firak pawned off most of the high-quality axes we bought him, but maybe we can work toward getting them back.

We don't care about what money Garshak makes or whatever it is that he gets out of it- we get him more business by getting him more stuff, he makes more money, we get more control. Mutually beneficial.

One stipulation- he can't pawn off the mining equipment.

Additionally, if he helps us and sticks to what doing what we want, we can get him more stuff in the future. Maybe a means of harvesting lumber from other forests, so long as he doesn't touch Firak's.

I will let Dak and Gallador figure out who gets Torvus in their own way. If others get involved... well, others get involved. Galder has what he wants. Whoever doesn't get Torvus can have a Fighter.

Rand, what's up with Loincloth and Blue? I think everyone should know.

I'm all for dealings with Garshak. Just let him know that if he double-crosses us, we'll take our business elsewhere, and we'll kill him.

The last part being the most important, of course.

I'm sure we could allocate some funds to get him plasma drills and simple skiffs for his quarries. He had better understand that if they end up on the market that horrible things will happen to him.

Ush how did Gorag do in the final battle?
