Dak will of course move up as fast as he can.

Could a Fix-It roll be made to repair the cargo skiff? There is no way that Rand would be able to effectively run up the mountain in a timely manner.

Can Rand sense anything as well? How are the rest of the Epireans reacting?

My first theory is Ogros sabotaging the base, taking advantage of our distraction... OR the fighters/wimps that disappeared during the race, unless someone wants to fess up to killing them.

Or one of us did it!

Wait a moment, if someone put fire to our base, it would be logical they are running down to escape, right? So someone should look for them.

Then Xavier will get to work fixing the skiff.

It also may not be a bad idea to tell Firak his tribe to organize and be prepared to fight or search.

As it so happens, those who just ran up the mountain and those who used the fixed skiff get there at about the same time.

Four Epireans are using makeshift tools to try and set fire to as much as your base as possible.

They have also left a large hanging cloth on its side, with an imprint in the local language that reads:

OGROS WILL RETURN

Con will attack one of them with his sabre.

Do we have any tools in place to fight fire...like...hoses perhaps?

Sure you do- and you kill the four of them easily. They were willing to die for their cause.

Subsequent investigstion suggests that Ogros got them to commiut crimes specifically to get them into your games and attack your base.

Luckily, they know little of technical matters, or they might have damaged something important (power supplies, your fuel store... the shield generator...). However, it is a powerful statement from Ogros, at the heart of your power, and an inspiration to his cause.

Perhaps we should force our investiagtion of Ogros more. I mean are there no rumors? Perhaps we should offer a price for information on him.

Also, I think we should make a Guy Fawkseian example out of them, hang their bodies around the perimeters of our hill. Maybe there are some religious believes Epireans hold about death we can piss on?

We need to track and kill Ogros.

The base award for the story is 3xp.

Let's have a look at some bonuses.

King of Dodge the Dark Sider is... what, what? A tie??! That's no good, someone was meant to prove their superiority. Dark Siders can't split this one, I am afraid- no score!

Prove your Mettle by engaging the dangerous targets in Dodge the Dark Sider... nope, didn't do that either.

Uncover the 'unexpected' use of your technological bequests... passed! An extra xp for Con, Gallador and Azarl.

Prevent Ogros' infiltrators from making their demonstration... failed! Oh well.

Win the bet on the race- a point for Relle!

Mess up someone ELSE winning the race- A point for Xavier and Rand, who BOTH caused that rocksldie, at the same time, by sheer coincidence. Also why it went out of control.

FALLEN/MARAUDERS- Ensure the survivors have a broad range of skills, rather than just the strongest/most dangerous in a fight surviving. Although this was kind of done, no Fallen or Marauder was responsible.

PARIAHS/CORSAIRS- Maximise violence at the games. Passed! All Corsairs and Pariahs get an extra xp.

APOSTATES/HERETICS- Poison somone ELSE'S choice of bodyguard, so he was actually working for you. Failed- despite the golden opportunity!

ENFORCERS/BRIGANDS- Prove your physical superiority against the Epireans- halfway there on the running race, but needed to be accentuated more I am afraid.

BANES/OVERLORDS- Spectacularly prove your power in the group to the Dark Siders. Oh Rand, if only you had taken that action you had proposed to me to Galder, in front of all the Epireans...

REVENANTS/ORPHANS- Find and control the Force-sensitive Epirean! Not that any of you care anyway, but it was one of the wimps and is now dead.

I was actually thinking about something like this, but wouldn`t it increase Animosity? I didn`t know Torvus was that loyal...

Do we get info about our Epireans like the Jedi get on Padawans?

Doesn't increase Animosity if they don't know it...

I know the feeling, everytime Ush does his reveal I think "GODDAMIT, I thought about that", I guess it shows we need to be more proactive.

Damn. Could've gotten more out of that. Oh well!

And figures there was a Force-sensitive Epirean. We have asked about that before.

I'm glad I caused the rockslide now, xp point for me 😄
