USH'S STAR WARS GAME- LIGHT SIDE INTERLUDE- 'Broken Lance'

Here's Andro's changes:

For the make-up skill point, I'll put it in Observation, raise it to 2
For XP spending(17XP):
Observation to 3 - 6xp
Fix-it to 2 - 4xp
Force Power Lifting - 6xp
Total spending - 16xp

Hopefully this reflects Andro's attempt to learn from his mistakes on the last several missions (Starting with being so preoccupied with trashing batledroids, his friends had to leave him in the lobby on Droben, leading up to trying... um [/i]stongly considering[/i], to assassinate a religious leader) He's tring to think a little more about what he gets into, and is also exploring uses of the Force other than those used when trashing battledroids or religious leaders - like Varm. Although Twirl looked fun.

As for this mission, Andro was going to opt for being a pirate because there were few other choices. Now that there are better people for that job, he'd like to bow out. Not to mention that being among a group of violent pirates, and acting like one of them, won't help Andro's 'recovery' much.
Andro volunteers his and his padawan's services to the effort to check out the probable locations for future hits, with an eye toward helping to plan or even lead the ground efforts of the eventual trap. Otherwise, we're at Roan's disposal, wherever Roan feels we're needed.

How about I just propose that Vera lies that she is a Jedi to the Kirillian? It'll save us time. If that won't work I'll try to get into contact with Windu and, along with my recommendations, ask him to put Vera on the case officialy.

Can I still wait for those sticks? I'll harrass you afterwards so you won't forget.

Vlad- you cannot stand by whilst someone next to you impersonates an officer of the law! That's grossly unethical!

Not even if the person isn't abusing it but rather using it in order to solve a Jedi case, under my supervision? I guess we can just conact the council about this, then. We need Vera's lying in this.

It IS abusing it! Impersonating a police officer is a crime!

How about this: I tell the suspect that we have all the evidence to arrest him, and then Vera agrees with me and points how obvious and definite that evidence is?

Step one is still you Lying, Vlad. Cannot trick the system like that. And I must always enforce the fsact that Jedi have the authority. Renegades get their extra merit instead.

Okay, since Roan issued as a moral ultimatum and it seems to be having its way with Vlad, Vera-Kin wants to keep things simple and not hit this guy right away.

She wants to find the Kirillian and simply make his acquaintance, asking who he is and what brought him out here to this system where he has retired, far from Kirillia. She will ask him when he moved out, and if she will respond by mentioning that was very close to the time of the pirate attack. She will start asking if he knew anything about that, especially since he was a clerk at the bank, implying that she knows about his involvement.

If he does not fess up, Vera-Kin will explain that his moving away after the attack on Kirillia is highly suspicious and that she has a theory that he helped the pirates. Then, it will be a matter of using Persuade to convince the Kirillian to help them, on the moral grounds that the pirates are hurting a vast amount of people and that they can help keep him out of things if he helps them.

All using Persuade. Vera-Kin also has Presence.

He could just stand at a distance, or perhaps stand next to you trying to look all charismatic, friendly, and simple. And then once we get at least something out of him and nothing else can be had, I could pop up and go like. "I'm a Jedi and your under arrest. You have just proved our suspicions."

And then from there I guess we can move onto "helping each other."

I need you to answer the question I gave Vlad, Vera- what to do if the guy just says you have nothing on him, so he won't say anything.

An old error from the original template, there, Jovan- must have forgotten to correct it from you a while back. The extra '1' is duplication.

Also at the end of today I shall make the roll for Vera/Vlad- if you roll well, you'll get him. It's harder because I don't think you've come up with a very satisfying Persuasion pitch. You guys are being a bit nasty for that skill.
