I still fail to see this one thousand ton feat that is imaginary.
You could always check the Link respect thread, but I'll supply you with info.
Step one: determining the volume of an object, in this case the pillar in OoT, which Link threw like a ball.
The pillar is a hexagonal prism, so let's determine the area of it's cross section.
^For visual purposes. Do achieve this, we use Link's height as a reference, and compare it to the pillar on a pixel by pixel basis. We determine the length of a side, then we round down.
Once we know the length of a side, we can determine the length of line AC. Once we know that, we can determine the area of it's cross section, then we multiple by height.
Step two, we determine it's density. It STRONGLY resembles black granite, and in the manual is referred to as granite, so we use th lightest granite available. White granite, to round down. Then we multiply volume by density.
TADAH, we know how much the stone weighs. Link threw it like a ball.
Edit: @iChaos, Atlas never even exerted himself, Kratos was in no danger.
Saying it strongly resemble and being it are two different things also this is a far as I'm concerned is Tp link a entirely different characters. It resembles granite because it IS granite, as mentioned in the guide book. Also, TP Link over-powered Ganondorf, who could have replicated OoT Link's feat, anyway. Both Link's are insanely strong.

These gold-plated Gauntlets are even more powerful than the Silver Gauntlets. When worn, they grant Link god-like strength, allowing him to lift rock pillars which, based on their appearance, easily weigh several tons

When has he done this? you sound like your assuming here....

The collossus was hollow, and he didn't even toss it far,
Hollow or not, that was still very heavy and is something Link couldn't do.
Link in OoT tossed a thousand ton pillar like a beach ball.
Right, and Kratos couldn't do that especially when flipped over a temple, swinged a giant pillar, pulled down a house-sized hydra head, and prevent getting stomped by the Colossus by pushing its foot up and making it fall on its ass.
Ganon is even stronger than Link, and that was obviously not the full extent of Link's strength. In TP, Link overpowers a weakened Ganondorf...
Ganondorf doesn't have the same strength as Ganon. Ganondorf used the Triforce to transform and amplify his strength because his magic wasn't good enough.
Just sayin'. Soo, stopping the Goron is not his best feat, overpowering Ganon is, and it puts Link's strength above Kratos'.
The hydra's strength > Ganondorf's strength
Kratos hand-powered an elevator, pushed down a crushing floor, ripped a sword in half, stomped on a helmet to pieces, rammed through a pillar without any damage, knocked a huge statue down with his feet, kicks huge blocks several feet, and regularly tears off body parts of his enemies.
Kratos strength > Hydra's strength > Ganondorf' strength

TP Link is not stronger than OoT Link with Golden Gauntlets.
yes, i think your overestimating the seriousness of the feat, its just a nice gameplay mechanic with those blocks being the obstacle and those gauntlets being the key. Hes never used them for any other strength feat. Their a one off.
Link does not run around with half a dozen swords and items when fighting rats and other wildlife that he can apprently bore into with his little finger or carve out his own valley with his uberest 1000 tonner strength! same goes for TP Link.
I think Screampaste is looking too far into a few one off feats that are far from consistent with the rest of the game. Developers would not have links design be that of a thin little elf guy constantly trying to outthink puzzles and finding items if he had 1000+ tons of strength behind his fists....
Hollow or not, that was still very heavy and is something Link couldn't do.Yes he could.
Right, and Kratos couldn't do that especially when flipped over a temple, swinged a giant pillar, pulled down a house-sized hydra head, and prevent getting stomped by the Colossus by pushing its foot up and making it fall on its ass.None are impressive compared to sword locking Ganondorf.
Ganondorf doesn't have the same strength as Ganon. Ganondorf used the Triforce to transform and amplify his strength because his magic wasn't good enough.Ganon's being used as a short form here. Ganondorf is incredibly strong.
The hydra's strength > Ganondorf's strengthBull.
Not impressive to someone who can throw thousand ton pillars.
Kratos strength > Hydra's strength > Ganondorf' strengthBased on a false assumption. The Hydra has no showings of strength close to Ganondorf's and neither does Kratos.
TP Link is not stronger than OoT Link with Golden Gauntlets. He's atleast around the same strength level, he over-powered Ganondorf. That's an incredible feat.
Their just toonforce for entertainments sake, they do not have links to actual physical abilities based on canon. Their just entertainment value....non recuring entertainment value. As Scream has stated before, you only see it at the end of the game, you also see him only using this apprent strength to lift those blocks...I even heard the animation every time he lifts one is exactley the same.
