Re: Surviving Land of the Dead...

This is gonna be a bit different, I ran the idea across to Impediment and he said it's OK to do, as long as I/we follow MVF rules and keep it movie related.Same scenario as Land of the Dead. Zombies are everywhere. You are at home, and a news bulletin comes on explaining the situation.
We list details about ourselves, and others judge who here would survive the longest and who would be eaten immediately.
Post the following details:
1. Your home: What's it like? Is it easily fortified? Is it in a suburban area? Rural?
2. Supplies: How well stocked with food is your home? What kind of food? Canned goods? Meats? Water? Do you have a generator?
3. Transport: What vehicles do you have access to?
4. Weaponry: Do you have any guns? Chainsaw? Machete?
5. How in shape are you? Scale of 1 to 10. One being Jabba the Hutt, 5 being in shape enough to take care of yourself, 10 means you can run a marathon.
Some other questions: Are you mechanically inclined? Do you live alone? Can you hunt? Fish?
If you guys can think of any more questions, feel free to post them.
This is real
1. I live in a 2 story house, the 2nd story is almost completely underground. We live in a suburban neighborhood. If we put bars on the ground windows, it's impossible to get in without breaking down the walls.
2. We have 2 cabinets full of canned food, a box of ramen noodles, and our fridge is always fully stocked. There's also a half size fridge downstairs, we keep that stocked pretty well too. My father was a mechanic/electrician/carpenter. We have everything we need, including a pretty big generator.
3. A 2000 Ford Taurus SHO, a rebuilt Chevy Pickup, and 2 Toyota MR2's, one is a 98, the other is a 95, the 95 is a monster, and can hit around 185.
4. A Pump Action Shotgun, a Glock 45, a Desert Eagle, a couple paintball guns...I'm actually working on getting a Sniper Rifle, but those things are f*ckin expensive. We've got 2 machetes, a bunch of baseball bats, knives, swords, spears, staffs, a monk spade, hammers, axes...etc..
5. I'm a 10, I've been playing sports since I was 6, taking martial arts since I was 4, and I've been working out 4 days a week since I started playing football in 6th grade, I'm about to turn 20 in a few weeks.
As I said earlier, my dad was a jack of all trades, and he taught me everything he knows about cars and electronics and what not. I live with my father who is in his 50's, but he's still in great shape. And I can hunt and fish, although I don't really like hunting.
