You said it. This is awesome! I don't see why people were saying Fairtail sucks. This shit is more entertaining and has got me on edge than Naruto, hands down.

It's all about the pacing. Fights are shorter, and you get more of 'em.

She's trying to save the country from something. Or rather, change things so that a bad fate won't happen, and the country may be altered or destroyed by the change, but hey, there's something bad happening anyway.

Does any site stream this whole show? When I looked at it on crunchy roll it only has like the last few weeks worth of episodes.

There's definitely more fighting right now. And with more diverse characters too. naruto has only been showcasing like one or two people at a time lately. FT has found a way to show every main character battling that they started with for the most part.

I'm very interested in this 3 way fight between the 3 female heads. Does Minerva have S/T? She just came out of nowhere. I want to see what she can do.

Minerva has some confidence. Lets see if she can back it up.

Naruto switches between group battles and just a few characers. FT tends to have multiple battles going on most of the time, or several short two-person battles in a row (most recent tourney fights were 2 on 2 after all).

The key thing is that FT makes sure to get a good rotation of every main character getting a battle within each arc which is nice to see. We even see some supporting characters getting battles frequently as to where Naruto focuses mainly on a few people.

Also, every now and again, they just freakin' kick ass like Erza did and Laxus did.

Hm, it strikes me, Laxus better face Jura, because with the girls occupied, I don't think there's a single other person who can.

Not to mention, they don't fall into the trap OP does of doing this too much. There will never be a story arc where the FTers entirely have their own way, even when they get to dominate in several areas.

Hmm. Good point. I think Natsu could put up a decent fight but it would be a victory maybe 1 out of 10 times. Maybe Natsu and Gajeel at the same time.

And Natsu's not in that fight. Gajeel is the only unengaged, unwounded FT member at this point.

Natsu might be able to pull it off with his combined lightning/fire attacks. Doubt it though. I agree that Laxxus is the most likely out of the current crew to defeat him. It may even take two of them.

Current status of team: Erza, engaged with Minerva and Kagura
Juvia, engaged with Chelia
Gray, wounded after fight with Rufus
Gajeel, unengaged
Laxus, unengaged

Other people of note still in the games include Lyon, Ogra, and the Sabertooth dragon twins.

^ Honestly, I think Gajeel could beat the two twins if Natsu did it easily. He is only a step below Gajeel. I think Juura the only real obstacle left, and the only one I think would handle a FT member solo out of who is left.

Assuming the twins aren't stronger than last time, yea. Powered by FRIENDSHIP!

And Lyon's no slouch.

I'm speculating on which Fairy Tail members could actually put up a fight against Jura: the list is short.
