Man...dammit.......that makes perfect sense. If an elemental magic attack against a Dragonslayer of the same elemental affinity attacks, that just makes the Dragonslayer more powerful.

Imagine Natsu eating the flames of that flame dragon: it would be stupid how much more powerful elemental flame magic would make him.

Also, Sting and Rogue claimed to have killed their dragons. On the face of it, it seems absurd, even if the parent-dragons didn't fight back very hard, dragons are so tough. On the other hand, their parents would be the *light* dragon and the *shadow* dragon, which they could eat and power up off of.

It's like, every single Dragon vs Dragonslayer fight would be akin to the time Natsu ate Etherion.

At least, that's what I think is probably the case.

Cobra is back. Hell yeah. Really liked him and he was one of the few people to trounce Natsu, so that is a plus.

Yea, that is pretty cool! And he should be one of the stronger ones.

He is my favorite DS after Laxus.

This chapter proved once again just how OP and boss Acnologia is.

It does strike me Makarov would be better served punching *any* of the dragons except the one that's on fire 🙂

Also, it looks like the dragon slayer magic is just different from anything we've seen.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But, it looks like Natsu was using magic that is different from his other stuff: it has alternative attributes that harm dragons.

Some of his past spells have been mentioned as being particularly good against dragons. It's just, y'know, never come up before 🙂

I know Dragon-slayer magic was made to kill dragons but I still have a problem picturing Wendy doing anything to a dragon along with Sting or present Rouge. Also where's Gildarts when you need him?

Also Hiro's a little late in explaining why Sting and Rouge were chumps in the tournament.

Oh it's not like we ever really believed they were stronger than dragons, even when we thought they would be badass 🙂

Also, even if they're the only ones who can *directly* hurt the dragons, they've still got like a gillion other mages around to give support spells.
