You know despite the fact the the Wizard forces now have a second chance against the dragons there's only one thought that stands out in my mind after reading this chapter...

No you didn't.

Also, she's probably not dead because she was shocked at only 1 minute being offered. Tells me she expected something more like....."turn back time before the gates opened" which seems more like 30 minutes.

So, she's probably alive. I'd assume if she did the full sacrifice, her body would have dissolved.

Also, it seems like a person that uses this magic could use it for much longer than 30 or so minutes because it is supposed to allow for the person to turn back time enough to get happiness. So that has to be a lifetime worth of time spent: 70-90 years.

My impression was more, it's hypothetically possible to turn things back, but the power required is simply absurd.

I thought it was a pretty badass chapter.

Could be that, too. It's possible that Zeref underwent or did something similar. Since he is exponentially more powerful than Hip-girl (based on the legends), I could see him turning back time 400 years rather than 1 minute.

Well its kind of nice to see my perversions are only part of my imagination. Though I will say that Ultearks sacrifice was pretty predictable althought Ultear believing she went out in vain was a nice touch.

Yes, it was foreshadowed last chapter, but it still works for me 🙂

Felt a lil rushed.

FT doesn't like to drag things out near as much as the other big series.

That aspect of Fairy Tail is both a blessing and a curse IMO.

That time spell came out of nowhere, as did Gray's 'death'. Seemed a pointless way to just give a moral boost.. or whatever it did to the rest.

No-where? We've always known time was Ultear's thing.

Yea, but we knew it was something she wanted to do. Having a move that only worked at the cost of her life isn't too far afield.

So her power works for the whole planet? 1 minute? I bet we haven't seen the other continents yet and Ultear made the contact. I wonder where the counsel top mages are at....

Well I just read Fairy Tail and this is probably one of the ost anti-climatic endings to a battle ever. However Mavis, for once since her appearance, doesn't annoy me and gives us some more dragon hype....which is pointless at the moment.
