Fairy Tail

They don't need anyone, there is a chance, the returned scarf Natsu got, might save them in the end, Gray own ice powers, Mavis, and E.N.D popping out in the end.

Marde gear is bit blend, he needs more personality in my book. Kind of a downer, if Gray can only land a direct him. Marde Gear would lose.

Oh, the scarf! Yea, that's a possibility.

Or Gray somehow manages to tank it for both of them.

I dunno guys, FT moves way too fast for me sometimes.

Hiro trolled me with Gray, I didn't expect him to literally "tank it"...

Theory:
Maybe, being separated from the dragons will allow both Wendy and Gajeel easier access to Dragon Force, just like Natsu in this arc.

Ah, the dragons!

And... I did not see that result with Acnologia.

At least not so quickly and off panel. So all the fear around Acnologia is only for it being a dragon, not an especially powerful or legendary dragon?

Acnologia did kill a lot of dragons in the past, but apparently isn't heads and shoulders above other top dragons like, apparently, Igneel.

You got to remember that Acnologia was once a former human, probably the activation of Faces weakened him. We might see a human transformation from the dark dragon or the death of Igneel, who looked pretty tore up and looking half unconscious with those white pupils.

I've my fingers cross for Acnologia being a woman! 🙂

Oh! Yea, if Face only weaked Arc, that'd explain it.

Well that was short lived.

That was brutal.

Well damn! Way to go Hiro

Have to hand it to the author, now we're getting somewhere.

This has been a pretty nice arc of FT.

Yea. Unlike the Tourny arc where things kinda fizzled, the dragons showing here really fit and worked well.

Well this chapter certainly clears up questions I had about this series. Well done.

T-t-t-timeskip!

And the FT Zero chapter was not bad either.

I think the author did an amazing job making Erza's character a bit more real with her having to deal with the PTSD associated with the torture she endured this arc. That was a bit dark/deep for a shonen manga. But it is something that would happen in reality. You just don't sweep that shit under a rug and move on to the next arc and big-baddie. You'd deal with haunting memories of it for a while. Some people break out into panic attacks and others just give the 1000 mile stare and seem to be stuck in the memories (similar to Erza's character).

Hmmm....two time-skips in one main series' storyline.

It just occurs to me that Zeref is one of my favorite FT characters. Dude makes every appearance special and his curse is really unique.
