Fairy Tail

Well that escalated quickly.

So much for 'taking them on piecemeal!'.

Maybe Mavis has a back-up plans she's neglected to share with the rest.

But that was certainly a drastic turn.

And not just there being 6 of the 12, but *so many* conventional forces.

Just more room for the FT mains to show they can hang with these guys 1 or 2 on 1.

This is probably the silliest way to make fanservice happen. At least the dragon blowing off your clothes was funny. This is just so...strange.

Sayla takeover!

That's a really neat new move ^^

So how does that work exactly?

Also I'm not sure if this or the Erza torture is more ridiculous.

Mirajane absorbed part of Sayla, so when all the Tartarous died, she remained.

This is definitely less skeezy, though it's a bit weirder..

So there was actually a point to this latest episode of "naked Lucy"? Just hope that were aren't entering the Lucy getting beat up stage because it a bit early for that I think.

She took out the guy that blocks out space magic.

Thus now, Lucy and Erza can fight at full.

Interesting chapter,

Spoiler:
Erza took out sand-guy, but *not* on her own, instead with the help of Bisca's jupiter cannon shot.

Well this went better than how I initially expected things to go so I can approve.

That and

Spoiler:
instead of winning with her yoga pants mode(which has gotten stale), Erza mixed and matched her equipment. Water sword for offensive, wind armor/sword for defense. When she was caught she used a bright armor to signal her allies and her Nakagami armor, her strongest one so far, to deliver a final power hit at a crucial moment.

This is the most strategic it feels like she's been in years. Usually Erza is just flat out better.

Agreed on all points. That was good mix-up armor use. The last time she used a bunch in a fight was, I think, Azuma of Grimorie Heart.

Spoiler:
It's also interesting to contrast the effects of the Jupiter Cannon. Initially, it was enough to temporarily KO armor through her greatest defense. Now it hurts, but doesn't take down, a strong enemy caught by surprise by it.

She won the Azuma fight with outside help too...sort of.

Spoiler:
I would argue that this guy is more powerful than the version of Erza that survived the Jupiter Canon when it was fired. Maybe that had something to do with the resistance. Also nice to see minor characters supporting a major fight.

Yea, and earlier in the fight, she use a ton of armors in succession. Multi-sword, speed, light armor's beam etc..

Oh, definitely, much more so. Toughness comes with magic and all that.

That was quick.

Though not easy.

And no way does the one 'fluke win' not get fought for real later on.

Well that was a thing. And to think Mavis& Guild were freaking out only 5 chapters ago.

Iirc, there's still a lot of enemies coming from the North and South soon. It's just the first wave that was beaten.
