I'm catching up on Fairy Tail and I just finished chapter 429.

And Gray was just revealed as being undercover by Erza!! Whoohoooo! I love it! 😄 😄 😄

I didn't think a plot twist like this would be coming. Glad I took the time off from Fairy Tail that I did (I took about 5 months off reading it).

Latest chapter- Hah, FT was kinda assholes there ^^ And Ichiya of all people was quite awesome.

Well FT gets to be an arse because they're FT.

With that said I hope they don't go back to freaking out because that would just seem redundant.

There's a couple spinoff series. One is Wendy-centric and I haven't picked up.

Another, Fairy Girls, is a one-volume story that takes place just after the Grand Magic Games arc (during the party), staring Lucy, Erza, Wendy, and Juvia. It's not by Hiro, but it does a pretty solid job at capturing the FT feel, and it ties in a bit to the corrupt Council Chairman and such.

So Natsu got a pretty impressive upgrade. I do wonder when the "Final Form" will appear though.

Natsu went Demon Yusuke on Zeref.

I liked the bonus Christmas chapter. Wendy and Carla looked really cute barking like puppies even though Carla's a cat!

That explains the age thing! ... though I had thought it was being the dragons were simply sealed inside them ^^

Time travel solves everything. Though it is interesting to know that all the 1st gen dragon-slayers are in the same boat as Natsu.

We knew Gajeel had the age thing too, so it makes sense.

I was hoping Brandish was related to Anna, one the person Zeref mention earlier that he was grateful towards, but instead we got servant of Lucy mom backstory.

Poor Kagura, looks like she is set-up as fodder towards this female swordsman. Erza to the rescue!

I may be forgetting something but exactly how did Layla die again? The lady seems to be a plot catalyst for almost everything significant so far.

Unknown. Not while she was an active mage, and fairly young, so probably disease or something.

People who consider Erza to be the Fairy Tail Mary Sue really need to stop and realize that Laxus is so much worse than her in pretty much every regard. There is absolutely never any tension of fun when Laxus fights and he can handle pretty much anything thrown his way. I utterly loath this character.
