If you read my previous posts, I said that's the arc he came back in, but if he did indeed die, it was from his exposure with entropy since that has way more going for it then the DS scene did.
Anyway, following this 'retcon' route, you do realize we can retcon the Brainiac being Doomsday story and merely replace it with Doomsday being erased by entropy and coming back, don't you? Afterall, isn't that the logical progression towards the Imperiex story because the panels skip right to Imperiex, so they must have retconned the Brainiac story.

Tbh I think that DD died by DS in HP and find really weak the excuse that the panels are meant to show the arc, since DD only died by DS in said arc.
Anyway opinions are opinions and in a comic forum proving your point is never easy.

The panels are for the times he died. As it clearly shows when he died at Superman's hands first. He didn't rise until later. So yeah. That's that.

EDIT: If they retconned the Brainiac story, that means he had to have died by entropy btw, in case you didn't realize this

Doomsday wins. However, it is noteworthy that while Doomsday appeared invincible back then, he was taking on a much weaker Superman...

Did he die during the brainiac story? I don't recall him dying. But he certainly died in all the other storys shown. The fact that entropy didn't kill him during the H/P arch leaves on one available options. The Omegas. It's how I see it. How others see it. If you don't see it that way, fine, your opinion is noted.
